the first awesome thing i like about this tab is its display... i getting perfect feel when ever i watch a movie or any video in 1080p.. it is just awesome, the config of this tab take everything i throw at it.. movies, downloads, games, rss/news reader and multitasking, The dual speaker sounds great in both landscape/portrait mode... this is so thin and light weight compared to all the competitors to this tab... since it is nexus, i dont have worry about updates.. it is auto update.. battery is the only problem in this, it will not survive beyond 10 hours.. but it dint bugs me at all.. i can live with it. also, you cant expect good camera in a tab, but this do what basically needed, but front cam is so good for selfies and videos chats... Design :9/10 Features :8/10 Performance :9/10 Display :10/10 Camera :6/10 Speaker :7/10 Software :9/10 Battery :7/10 Eco-system :8/10 Overall : 8/10

flipkart delivery was fast as always pros) crystal clear screen handles games fine its nexus so u will always get all the latest updates way better specs than any other tab under 20k cons -battery life is like 4-5 hours max and takes a about 4 hours to fully charge -not as great as its shown in gaming it go lag even in high games and by high i dont mean games liks asphalt8 those r super high games but for its price its the best u can buy in the market so u cant do anything about that unless u want to spent 30k money -it says its gorilla glass but mine did got scratch after 2 days and i didnt used it roughly still so i'll recommend get a screen guard. they r not like big ones u will see if u want to like checking with flashlight anyway buy a screen guard -build quality is just okey its solid its not cheap but doesnt look really good either -do not read pen drive without rooting ('nexus media importer' wouldnt work either if thats what u think u can use) it do have OTG keyboard, mouse and gaming consuls works fine but wouldn't read a mass storage device and in 16gb u get 11.5 usable so no movies no songs i guess -and u wouldn't receive a pair of headphones if u expecting one if u are looking for a GAMING tab under 20k this is the best u can buy its for gaming and for those who like to watch stuff online as it do not offer much of storage its best value for money wouldnt regret buying it

I have been an iOS user for a long time and I always thought that I could never be converted to the android club. Well, I was proven wrong! The new Google Nexus 7 is by far a better tablet to choose when you are not sure whether you really want to spend almost twice the amount for an iOS with similar configurations (I am not talking of the entry level iPad mini 16B without retina display) The screen resolution is brilliant, and this alone makes this product the best in the 7" category. The product has been made without much compromises and hence the overall touch and feel of the new Nexus 7 is absolutely breathtaking. For me, a 16 GB (non--expandable) tablet is almost as redundant as laptop without any battery backup. You practically can't do much with the storage and in the end you don't use the product to its full potential. I need my pics, videos, games, apps, editing apps, movies, songs etc. all in the same place, and 32 GB is a perfect storage requirement for me. Android is very impressive and has lots of room for personalizing the product, and the interface is flawless. I find the touch responsiveness and the navigation of a page much better in iOS though, but the nexus 7 2013 more than compensates by the sheer performance, screen resolution and the pricing point. Highly recommended!

I bought this one 10 days ago for $250. If you are confused between Nexus 7 2012 & 2013 versions, just go for the 2013 one. Let go of the little voice in your head saying the older one's are cheaper, because it is totally worth the extra price you pay. I need not tell you the differences, just compare the devices in the compare tool and see for yourself. As far as the personal experience goes, I'm simply blown away! The high resolution and a powerful processor works seamlessly. And it is so freakin lightweight! An absolute gem! [A clarification for people wondering about the capabilities - No 3G feature No SD card slot No removable battery Only 2 buttons on side - Volume control and Unlock Primary camera is good, not extra ordinary 16GB is the total storage, usable is about half.] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A tip if you worry about the storage being so less - If you have a router at your home, you can access media files from your PC/Laptop/Wireless HD from your tablet via SFTP. Watch movies, play music without downloading anything to your tablet! :)

The new NEXUS 7 (2013) 16 GB is one of the top class tablet right now with some amazing hardware specs and of course the customised Android 4.3/4.4 OS which is optimised for HD/3D gaming and Internet experience. With its eye blowing display resolution of 323 ppi on a 1920 x 1200 (1200p) its has the highest resolution right now when compared to any other tablet of any range. Add to that the 1.5 Snapdragon S4 PRO QUAD Processor, which is specially optimised to use with latest Android and Nexus Hardware (that is why Nexus devices are great,Google optimises evry spec with relation to each other spec) makes the performance seamless and very fast. FULL 1080p HD Video recording with a good 5 MP cam is good. Another unique feature is SlimPort. If you get a Slimport to HDMI adapter cable, you can connect your Nexus 7 to a HDMI display and experience content from the web. DLNA is also supported. This Nexus 7 combined with a Google chromecast woul give some great home media experience!

Display: 1080p display which is awesome both in cplour reproduction ,depth(PPI) and viewing angles.Display is even better than iPad mini retina display from my experience.Reading is very comfortable with such great display. Sound:dual stereo speakers with surround sound is just awesome. With headphones the audio quality is mind blowing..u won't go wrong with this tab if u are multimedia lover. Battery: its more than enough for a normal or little heavy user,,,,I get a day easily out of it with normal usage. Camera:it's a tab ....we don't want a tab for clicking pics...but u won't find it dissapointing.Front can is also decent for video calls. Software update:just wen I opened it I got date for 4.4.2 kitkat which is awesome and the very reason for my purchase of this beast. Gaming:No laags at all for any games so far I have played. Con's: The only complaint I have is with the company for launching it for 9k more in India than US(u can get it for 200$ in US) and that too so late. The hardware it offers is now old snapdragon pro processor rather we could wait opt for kindle fire hdx in same price range with snapdragon 800 processor(But practically u won't feel any speed difference). Also it has adreno 320 GPU which is also old as u can get adreno 330 in kindle fire hdx. Alternatives: Kindle fire hdx(yet to be launched in India) or xolo tegra note Final verdict:go for it blindly as though u get somewhat old processor and GPU but u get awesome software support by Google and all things u would expect with cutting edge tablets.

After 7 days of use, 1. Product is awesome... 2. Quad core Processor + 2 GB RAM make it Very Fast ... 3. Video quality is superb... 4. Slim & light weight... 5. Touch is very smooth .... But the DEMERITs are - 1. The Company doesn't provide a Screen Protector, So I have to buy it... 2. Pen Drive through OTG cable Or Direct (Sandisk Ultra Dual 16 GB OTG Pen drive) not supported, but after installation of a software, it works fine....

Android is not the best OS to be used on a tablet but the Nexus tablet are the only exception to this. I own this in addition to the iPad. Here are the pros and cons of Nexus 7 Pro: Display: 7" High Def display is of great quality. Touch: As opposed to most Android tablets, this has a very good quality touch screen. No lags and smooth. Performance: Very smooth gaming, apps and surfing. Software: Android Lollipop is great on this tablet. Portability: This is where this tablet beats the iPad Air. It even fits in the Jeans back pocket. Cons: Screen is small for certain purposes like reading PDFs. Android OS is primarily a mobile OS. So tablet performance is mostly a stretched out phone performance. But it is still better than Samsung and other tablets. No External storage might be an issue, though 32 GB is sufficient for most. In comparison with an iPad: First of al if you have the money to buy, definitely go for an iPad Air. For a tablet, iOS and the App store are much better than Android and Google Play Store. But in this price bracket you should go for NO other tablet. Other Android tablets are useless. Overall, for the purpose of a nice smooth portable tablet, Nexus 7 is the best at the current price of 15,999.

I've started using tabs when Samsung released its first edition, and have every tab from samsung and now both the 2012 edition and the 2013 edition of the nexus 7. Samsung loads its tabs with s**t load of unwanted apps, which ofcourse can be rooted and removed however the clean interface of nexus can never be beat down. I have the 16gb edition of the 2013 and the same from 2012. 2 major differences, no cam in 2012 and no 3g in this version of 2013. Dont get me wrong, the 32gb edition has 3g. But in the current world of hi-ended smart phones why do u even need 3g on the tab too?? rather just wifi tether from ur phone and u r good to go online on the tab even if u r travelling. Con's none.. Pro's un-ending.. As of today, this is the best tab I've ever had or seen with any of my friends. (Leaving apart the ipad, which I dont want to start commenting on)
Best 7inch tab for best price.!
