I have multiple phones include iphone. and I just fed up and tired with using all the application, internet and nonsense things. its first mobile on which my mother say .. ha ye ha mobile jo chala sakte hai.... i use many mobile but my mother not use them but on this she use it very easy thats the great thing about this the body and key pad is great one......... speaker volume and ear speaker volume is great on call .... micro phone is good

It's always better to have a basic model with your high end model. I own a galaxy tab with this phone nokia 1280... It's simply superb to use and is a rugged body and smooth finish... it's functions are jus similar to Nokia 1100.... the phone has a battery capacity for 4 days for a normal use and a 3 day if you are in love.....Ha !!!! ha !!!!

This is the probably the best cheap phone you can buy. It's lightweight and the menu functions are very good. However it does have a few drawbacks. The keys are large, but typing fast isn't easy as you have to press them hard. I have had frequent issues with the signal getting lost. Sometimes the signal disappears in between calls and you are just left shaking your head with frustration. However it's just a very handy phone which grows on you. It's a better buy than the samsung guru if you are not concerned with having a colour display. But not a patch on the legendary 3310 though. Wish they could bring the 3310 keypad back.

The best bargain that you can make among mobile phones. Super fast, super light! Just a cute little box with enough functions to make you call, text and do all the basic activities. The LED torch light is the best feature. It also comes with a 3.5mm universal jack so your favourite headphones are compatible with this little phone. Although it vibrates too much (even when you tap on the body it vibrates), there's no problem whatsoever with its functioning. The loudspeaker option is just for a namesake and you really can't use it to much help. Well obviously when you buy a phone for just 999 bucks you have to make a few sacrifices. But let me tell you honestly. I've owned a Nokia 3120c and a Dell XCD35 before. But this phone was the only phone that met my expectations to perfection. Well it is true i didn't have high hopes, but the phone delivers. You can count on it. So if you're planning to buy a really basic phone then this is it. Nokia 1280 is the best in the market.

The phone makes for a great backup at Rs 999. Typing is a breeze with the really soft touch keys. Audio fidelity feels a bit off if you're used phones in the mid-high price spectrum. The 1280 is an excellent for cell phone novices who demand nothing more than the basic voice calls and the occasional texting. The phone provides for excellent legibility under direct sunlight, this of course on account of it being black n white but, nonetheless, comes in very handy. Flipkart's delivery was awesome as usual, got it delivered 48 hrs post placement of my order.

I bought this phone for my grandma recently and its totally worth the money. Her basic requirements were that it has a loud enough ring tone, a flashlight (so that she can use it at night when she wakes up for the bathroom) and simple speed dial so that she won't have to search for names and numbers. This little thing has all of it, is sturdy and has a very good batter life too. It even has those small images that you can assign to your contacts...it helps my grandma figure out who's calling her when she sees the image, since she can't read English. Works well for her... I'd say if your requirements are as simple as the above, then go for it, its totally worth the buy. And kudos to flipkart really...the product was delivered the very next day...cheers!

Their is no words for this phone..actually this is my bake up phone. Wid a great battary power. I am using xperia as my primary phone, using this one as my personal things.Nice phone with fantastic keypads. And specially the 3.5mm jack is great feature for this range of phone. No other company will provide u in 1000. Thanks to Nokia Guy respect this phone..
