the beast is now here.. and it is xolo play 8x-1100.. just amazing performance,flawless touch, gorilla glass 3,13mp sony exmor r sensor rear camera with 5mp bsi sensor front camera. this handset powered by mtk6592 true octa core processor clocked at 1.7ghz coupled with 2gb ram.. the very important thing is that this device has always free 1gb ram. the rear camera quality is just fabulous and i bet you that this is the best camera under this price tag, the low light images are brilliant looks like that i am taking pictures with digi cam.. the gaming experience is awesome as it has octa core processors, i have played MC4, ASPHALT8,MC5,REAL RACING 3,these games are lag free.. the rear camera can shoot 1080p video and front can record 480p video.. the battery back up is quite brilliant. Headphone quality is great. JUST GO FOR THIS MONSTER.....

best phone pros: 2 gb ram out of which 1 gb is always free 16 gb internal expandable upto 32gb octacore mt 6592 gpu mali 450 which plays every hd game available fluently (doesnt heat a lot) amazing camera both front and rear gorilla glass 3 works best amazing design feels great to hold in hand looks rich slim light in weight dual sim no lag at all cons: battery life less than 12hrs. well friends i bought this phone a week ago and i purchased this phone after using redmi 1s and moto g(2) the phone is awesome for gaming everything u throe at it will run like a breeze.games i played on it (asphalt 8, modern combat, dead trigger 2) they all run smoothly. i use this phone over wifi the downloading speed is awesome, websites load very fast touch experience is very good, very less beezels so quite handy also , look is also great sometimes confused people with htc one. battery backup is good not great. xolo power support app. provides good support to push the battery to run throughout the day very easily with little bi gaming (15-20 mins with high graphic games), lots of watsapp with frequent on and off of data, watching videos for 15 mins ,calling 1 hr with awesome call quality with all this the battery will still remain 15-20% at the end of the day. earphones supplied are a bit average but speaker quality is decent with dual speaker. apart from this i experiance 2 shutdowns during call that might be because of some laucher error(using nova launcher) but apart from this every thing is butter smooth from excellent screen quality to gaming. bought this device 4 days back from a retail outlet. Here's what i experienced 1) - Battery Life - 2100 mAH is not enough for a 5 inch screen device, however you can easily save substantial battery life by using an app called "360 security", not sure about other features of this app but it does save my phone's battery a lot ! the battery will last a full day on mixed usage. 2) - Heating issue - this device gets heated a bit while playing heavy games and any device would heat up given the fact it's super slim and has octa core processor. In my opinion its not really an issue. 3) - Display and touch - Its what you would get on any top notch brand's device. 4) - RAM - 1 GB of RAM is always available for the user so expect no lags whatsoever. I was going to buy Nexus 5, but saved 15k instead and bought this device. Apart from the xolo branding i like everything about this phone. Wish xolo makes better branding logos.Just an "x" logo would do so much better for this brand!

Hello every one this is my 5th smartphone from xolo. Previously I have used xolo q700, a500s, q700i, q1000. Each and every phone was one of its kind no other company can beat their specifications. My personal favorate among all these phones are q700 an my new play 8x-1100. I have purchased my play 8X-1100 on 09/09/2014 from a local dealer as flipkart was not showing this product in their list and more over it was very new at that time so flipkart didn't manage to get it enlisted in their stocks. now let us talk about this device. It looks awesome. But I dnt like the white color. i wish i could get a black one. Just after opening the box there will be a white leather finisher magnetic flip cover made by xolo, beneath that you will find the white shining n glowing handset in black and white combination. Then there will a back pannel cover. Inside the box you will be getting a 2100 mah battery, usb cable, charging adepter, otg cable, headset. The phone works so well like butter smooth, but though it sometimes lag while playing small small games too. Till now I have installed whatsaap, hike, line, viber, truecaller, agent dash, subway surfer, candy crush, 300 rise of empire, dhoom-3, bang bang, singham returns, fast and the furious 6, die hard, spider man and lots of other apps. All are working well but still lags sometimes. You will always find at-least 786 mb free ram. I hate its battery backup for an octacore, 2gb ram, 5" hd display just 2100mah battery...... boss have to say itz not enough. Still I am so happy and satis fied with it as I got what I desire a removable battery, led notification, 13mp sony exomore RS camera which gives awesome pics evn at dark night also. i hate its color, battery backup, its software problem of getting data connection on or off on its own. I have been using xolo-play 8x-1100 and the phone is good as it handles every games and daily work is fine but i quit using these phones as the company provides very bad battery, i don't know why they provide so less mah battery as if by providing good mah batteries then their bussiness may shut down but it will be the opposite if they will not give us good battery. Battery is the key issue to any phone as a spinal cord is to a human being. So now I think the company understands what i mean, if they raise the cost also by improving the battery it is fine but they have to......

Hello I bought this phone from outside my reviews are like this== 1: display is HD 5" with 320ppi watched Full HD movie like never before . 2: touch gosh much much better then Samsung s4 mini, s3 neo, s3, samsung grand, Samsung core, HTC 616, leave, micromax, Karbonn some more lg l90 lte. 3: camera front 5 mp best I ever seen front 13 faadu hai 22. 4: octa core 1.7 GHz processor + 2gb ram works flowless. 5: 3g on both sim,s but could use one sim on 3g at one timr speed 21mbps HSDPA+. 6: gorilla glass 3 no worry about broken glass and scratches . 7: bettery work whole day with average useage and 12 hours with more than average useage. 8: and it have a sound proceesor for better sound and a flip cover free with it. In the end guys best deal don't worry u will love it try from local store it any confusion.

With an awesome body (like dual tone interiors of a car), this phone stands out in the crowd. It's very fast and smooth. Battery doesn't last all that long but this seems to be a problem with any phone having less than 2500mah capacity. I have used Zenphone 5 and this and went with Xolo. Camera quality is really good and again faster than Zenphone 5. UI is stock android with no bloat applications from Xolo. Thanks to 2GB RAM, all applications seem to be happy without any crashes. Call quality is good (on both ends) and speakers are decent. Headset provided is not great but not bad either. Over all, It's a great phone. Update: The battery life seems to have increased dramatically after a few charges. The trick seems to be to drain the battery completely (by not charging) and then every day putting it for charge at night and use it in the morning. Now I'm getting 15+ hours of battery life on moderate use.

Pros Awesome specs 2 gb ram camera is really good games work glitch free touch is good Cons Poor build quality dropped the phone from my pockets the edges got bent speakers are not good thou the clarity of the speakers is okay but it is not loud in enough display gets dirty very easily your finger prints just stick on to the screen unless you use screen guard I have had this phone since almost six months right after just two months the mic does not work properly during calls people cant hear me well . Am using my head phones to talk to people. Indian brands have a long way to go to catch up with likes of sumsung or big any other international brands
