I got my Zenfone 2 mobile yesterday.My initial impression was good. I loved Zen UI. There are many bloatwares preinstalled in the phone but some are very useful. I feel camera is very nice. There are lot of settings available in the camera UI and Manual mode is really great as it lets users to select exposure in real time. Battery performance is good, but I feel it could have been better. looks like Android OS is consuming lot of power and there seems to be RAM leakage also. Hopefully future OTA updates fixes these issue

First of all Kudos to flipkart to have delivered it before time. I received it on 9th may, so good work and the courier partner Redexpress was also very helpful. Now coming to the phone. I had researched for around 1.5 months to find the best phone in my price range, and I will use it for next 2 years. I am a casual user so gaming was not a concern so from my point of view, the phone is great. Pros: 1. It doesn't heat at all. 2. ZenUI is very smooth 3. Zenmotion is very helpful 4. Phone is very responsive 5. Rear Camera is awesome. (I heard in manny reviews that it is not good but i found it really good. I clicked pics in direct sunlight and they were great. At night, I used the manual mode and pics were good, I need to adjust with the modes but as of now, the camera didn't disappoint me.) 6. Front camera is also good, my friends using nexus 5 and iphones said selfies were much better. 7. Phone is very light weight. 8. Black colored model has matt finish at the back so it is not slippery. 9. One hand mode of ZenUI is also very handy. 10. Battery life is also around 8-10 hours for sure, I didn't notice too much but there is an app in the phone in which we can see the duration of battery life. 11. Battery saving mode is also great, when the screen is off, the battery remains unaffected. 12. 16 gb and expandable ROM is good enough for me but for higher priced variant, you can get more internal storage and also expandable. 13. Lock screen can be customised. 14. After an FOTA update, you receive 100 gb free google drive space! Cons: 1. The 3 buttons on the phones are not backlit 2. Screen picks up fingerprints quite a lot. 3. Only one sim supports 3g, 4g and data (These are more like nit pickings for such a good phone) As of now, I have picked up on these points only and over all I love this phone. Whichever is your price range, this phone will be good for you. 4GB variants must be better than this one..but for me, this is the best fit. Great work ASUS!

Got this phone yesterday and here's a list of some pros and cons of the device...(Although you do not get any earphones with this model in India) Pros : 1. Nice and Vibrant Display for the Price. 2. Great user interface. 3. Got an Antutu Benchmark Score of 43k which is definitely a great score for a 12,999 Rs Phone. 4. Touch response and Sensitivity is awesome. 5. Good amount of Ram and Processing Speed Which makes it ideal to run many tasks at time and gaming performance is simply great. Cons: 1. Power button located at top which is a little uncomfortable to operate (But double tap to wake the device is also an option ). 2. This phone does not come with fast charging technology ,so that's a disappointment. That's all from my 1 day review .. Hope it helped ,Thank you !

Initially I purchased Lenovo A6000, but then i returned it back to flipkart (as they did n't have stock to replace A6000) ..-- Then i finally waited for Zenphone 2 (it was a difficult decision between Mi 4i and Zenphone 2..) - NOW my review after 3 days of continuous use -- 1. Battery back up is good, it will last a day (15~18 hrs).. It takes around 150 mins to fully charge for its 3000mAh battery ..( Lenovo A6000 took about 5hrs for its 2300 mah battery) 2. Zen UI is good, specially its Gesture UI.. as the powerbutton is at the TOP and its difficult to reach the button due to its size, Gesture UI is a great help. 3. After 3 days of use, I didn't find any performance issues.. 4. Initially I was skeptical about placement of Volume rockers at the back, but actually i found it quite easy to operate now.. its even better.. 5. Built quality is good.. 6. NO Heating issues 7. Lollipop is amazing.. 8. Camera is good (specially HDR feature and photo editing apps) .. i am not a selfie fan, so can't comment about front camera Limitations .. ----------- --Only SIM1 supports data connectivity..( a bit disappointed here) --As there is no headphone provided, i am not sure about the sound quality yet in a headphone ( I have ordered a new one, yet to receive) -- Too many preloaded ASUS apps, which you can't disable.. (its frustating sometimes) -------------------------------------- Still I rated this phone 5 stars, bcoz i almost got everything i wanted. and regarding limitations, in every phone you have to compromise with something.. i guess, i can live with the above ones.. ;)

I just received this phone today 7 th may 2015 .....as soon as it was launched on flipkart 23rd April 2015... i preordered....it was long wait as it was released for shipping on 4th may....but the wait was worth it.. Its a super sexy phone huge hd screen awesome zen UI and super smooth touch and great speed ..battery is really powerful 2GB ram....13p camera dual flash..front 5p camera. so guys its an awesome value for money phone advanced great design and easy to handle .go for it!!!!!!!

I ain't here to tell u about the pros n cons of this mobile,u can check that yourself.This piece is just a beauty from Asus.There is nothing i don't like about this phone,starting from it's design to features and everything.This thing has a lot...specially in this price range.I would suggest anybody buying a smartphone to get this thing over xiaomi n all those anyday cz even if they are offering more feature rich products asus has a brand name worldwide n the smartphones it makes doesn't get heated up so much that u could probably iron ur cloths with it.And guys,u will not have to worry about ur fingers reaching all the way to the top of the phone cz the double tap to unlock makes it really simple.And yes,couldn't resist myself from telling this...the viewing angles exceptionally stunning...things are just crystal clear even from like 170 degrees.The only reason i'm giving 4 stars is,flipkat just kept on haggling with the delivery.They just kept on delaying the date which was really disappointing.

Great phone. Display, Camera and battery performance are good, but some missing features are there compare with asus zenfon 5. 1) SIM 2 data usage not available in Zenfone 2 2) 'What is next' widget is not available on lock screen.

I bought this a week earlier....no problems yet...everything is extraordinary...only the battery is average...lasts for 8-10 hours with intensive use...though its fair enough... ok, so the pros:- -> it looks sooo awesome... -> 5.5" screen with Hd display....the perfect thing for watching high def movies... -> intel inside, quad core and 2gb ram, havent had any lag with heavy games likes injustice and walking dead... -> volume buttons are on the back...so u dont accidentally lower the volume each time u grab ur phone.. -> excellent pics in daylight....needs to be manually adjusted at night....but still better than most phones of this range... -> ZenUI is too awesome...it allows u to customize ur phone a lot to get ur own distinct look....and it has this really cool feature i encountered for the first time...reaching out for the power button everytime u wanna unlock ur phone is tiresome...and its a lot of load on that puny button too...so instead, u can double tap ur screen to switch on ur screen...isnt that cool?? -> Around 11gb usable memory out of the 16gb rom...and mountable sd card...so memory isnt a problem unlike the xiaomi mi4i... -> speakers are great...which is realy rare for a phone of low budget... Now the cons:- -> camera needs to be manually adjusted to take good pics atnight...not a major issue though... -> larger screen drains the most battery...still can go through nearly 10 hours with constant usage... When i was buying this, i was confused between mi4i and zenfone 2... mi4i has a better ppi than zenfone due to a smaller 5" screen...though both have the same resolution...but zenfone has a memory card slot...mi4i doesnt...and comparing benchmark scores, i found that zenfone 2 has better performance than mi4i... So, if u need a phone with a budget of 13000, this is the one for u...

Pros: 1.Design, Looks and Display is great 2.Camera during day time is very good (but not in night time). 3.Touch screen and Sensitivity is good. 4. 1.8 Ghz and 2GB Ram run smoother doesn't lag. Con: 1.This phone does not come with fast charging technology. 2.The mobile doesn't come with headset. 3.Only Sim card 1 is for data.
