- The tablet is absolutely feature-rich both in terms of hardware and software. - It's waterproof. - It supports 3G/4G data and text messaging (just like most 3g dongles) but for calls you'll have to use Viber/Skype or similar. - Supports class 10 microsdhc ultra cards and pen drives through OTG adapter. - The display is sharp and vivid. - Moreover, I got a leather case and a 16GB memory card bundled with it. - I ran most benchmark tests available and this was the android tablet that came on top. There were mobile phones with better benchmark scores but no tablets. - IR Remote app covers almost every TV model available in India. You can develop a custom remote too. - If you like the tablet, go for it. Cons: - Still camera performance is not as good as advertised. No flash. - Wifi performance is a bit sluggish. Hopefully this should get fixed in the coming 4.2 update. - Charger cable is short.

I ordered this tablet within one week of its launch just seeing the reviews online and its specs. Compared it with latest Ipad and found almost every spec to be superior. Trusted the Sony brand and ordered it via Flipkart, without even going to the store to get a feel of it. And I was taken aback when I took it out. First impression: - Brilliant design - Super Thin - Good to hold After putting it on: - Outstanding Display - Great Touch Screen Now that I have used it for over a month, I do not regret buying this awesome piece of machinery. Battery is good. Speed is awesome. Watching videos is a pleasure. Sound output is good too. Camera is decent. Being water proof helps me use it even outdoors in the monsoon. All my friends just keep admiring its design, display and thinness. I have also configured all my electronics in my house using its "remote app" and use my tab to control them :-) Its brilliant Do not go by reviews quoting it overpriced. Its totally worth it if you compare it with any tablet in this price range (not many I guess!!) It comes with a decent looking cover, an already put scratch card and a 16GB of external memory chip. Just go for it!!

It really is all you can wish for.. Nice response, really good graphics, Sound quality really blows my mind. Dual speakers, 10 inch screen, IR burst, waterproof! Also, Awesome standby time...battery drained by 2% in a day and a half when left alone. 7hrs of usage time. It really covers all the bases except for the camera... but who would want to take pictures with a 14inch device in their hands.. all things considered.. this is a good buy.

I don't have to go into the specs, its all listed on this page, so its a user experience feedback. First the Bad 1.As said by another reviewer the power cable is short!! would be very difficult to use while charging. 2. as usual, sony never brings in accessories from the start, am sure we will have to wait a few months for those to land. 3. Camera does suck!! but then other than skype, why would I need it?? Now the Good 1. Its everything the ad's promise and a bit more... you are actually holding it in your hands. 2. There are some saying it heated up in use, this is not an issue for me, played GTA vice city with display settings to the max and it purred along fine with no heating or game play issues. 3. Compared to the Tablet S, the speakers are LOUD... !!! 4. when used without the cover you can actually feel how light it is!!, very comfortable to use to read an eBook in bed. 5. The Display is just awesome!! HD movies and games play just fine with nice rich colors. The rest is normal Jelly bean fare, would certainly recommend for people looking for a new tablet! Finally us Android fans can boost of a tablet that is equal parts beauty and beast!!

I bought this rite when it was introduced.. And I feel great after using it fr days... T resolutions, color vividness and brightness of t tab are great.. dustproof helps me a lot as my work is on t construction site.. Camera is partially t same wen compared to other tabs and it lacks frm flash... The battery dnt last as iPad but though Sony has a solution, "stamina mode",which helps to mantain t battery while not in use... Multitouch has to be upgraded in their nxt upgrade.. Every tab has pro's and con's, b4 u buy it, just list out ur uses and needs and choose a prfect tab...

Firstly, kudos to Flipkart's services. With the exception of 1 product (a Strontium Micro SD), all products that I have ordered so far have been immaculate, including this one, the Sony Xperia Z Tablet. This has to be the best tablet available in the market. Really sleek design and premium finish. Even the plastic used feels premium! Most importantly, has got amazing battery life. I have never seen a tablet last 3 days on constant Wi-Fi use. I believe this is mostly due to the power saving features (that actually works!) that comes default. Also it seems Sony is hell bent on updating the Android OS (have already received 2 updates and it seems they will be releasing the Android 4.4 update for the device as well). And yes, things I haven't dare tested, the water-proofing feature. Have seen videos where they have immersed the device completely in water and still works perfectly fine when taken out. The display even seems to work even if there are water droplets on the screen (again haven't dared to test that either!). And best of all, it did come with an amazing package (not sure if this is still available). Comes with a 6 month accidental warranty (drop the device and break it, they fix it), comes with an additional 16GB Micro SD card (class 4 - but still good enough - so total memory comes to 32GB) and they provide a tablet cover as well! What more can you ask for?! So guys, got Rs. 40,000 to spend, get the Sony Xperia Z tablet, eyes closed! :)

i think, the title would be enough !!! The rubber finish is awesome!!!!! It is very smooth in operation, after the 4.2.2 update. It beats Ipad on all grounds. It is also way better than nexus 10. and better than samsung cheap plastic I think I have covered the only two contenders in its class.

Can't wait to write this review. This is an awesome product. Nothing bad about it, worth every penny. Georgous display & very responsive. Build quality is better than any other android tablet and on par with ipads. Also, this is currently the slimmest tablet in the world at this size. One brilliant piece of architecture this is. Now the best part: Flipkart service was always good according to my past experiences. But this time Flipkart just wowed me and left me speechless with their service. First of all the product got delivered within 2 days. Not only you get the original Xperia branded leather case with this, you also get a 16GB sony class 4 mirco SD card. And last but not the least the icing on the cake was the free insurance that came along with it which is actually worth Rs 1000 if you want to purchase it seperately. The MicroSD card & the insurance is not advertised by Flipkart, not sure why, but you will get it for sure or atleast I did. Overall, its one of the best service I got from Flipkart so far. Lets get straight to the pros and cons: Pros: Light weight and gorgeous. Brilliant bright HD screen. Android 4.1.1 installed... will eventually be updated to 4.2 extremely thin. Free 16GB SD card included Free Premium carry case included Cons: Battery life, though decent, could have been better. Even with such high end software and specs, the interface tends to lag from time to time Conclusion: Its definitely worth it... there isn't an Android tablet out there so beautiful and thin as this one.

Got this wonderful gadget a week back. Till now, I am impressed with what sony has offered. Beautiful design Crystal clear display Super fast performance Water resistant Bundled with a free case and 16 gb free sd card Cherry on the cake: 10% cash back making it a bit less expensive Battery life could have been better and also the camera is not that great Flipkart as always did a Fab job of delivering the product well within the estimated time.
