I have this phone using from 2 weeks, its the best phone and great value for money Got kitkat update immediately Just zero lag, played subway surfers and temple run its just smooth. Signal strength is excellent 16GB version has 12.92GB available for user 500MB (total 900MB) available for user after all apps Screen resolution is excellent Camera - Images and videos are good, I will never use mobile as "digital still camera" Cool Motorola apps Both Speakers, external and for call are good Battery lasts for more than 24hrs with moderate call usage and 2G on for 8hrs and wifi rest of the day I would strongly recommend, Happy to be back to Motorola - my first mobile phone

Ok so, I am sure you would have read how good this phone is and the awesome value for money proposition it provides. No debating that - the phone is awesome. But how good is a phone if you cannot make a call from it? To cut long story short, the network drops regularly and the phone automatically switches to airplane mode. The SIM cards are not recognised and there is no apparent reason for this. The only way to fix this is to remove the SIM cards and put it back on and you have to keep checking your phone every 10 minutes to see if it is registered on the network or not. This has happened post the 4.4.2 update and I guess Motorola is actively working on a fix but no official communication yet (or at least I haven't come across). You can read multiple threads online on this issue. It may be fixed in 4.4.3 - but till then, I'd suggest hold on. Wait for the fix to come and then get your hands on this amazing bit of technology!

Motorola isn't listening and this problem has been around for a while. After disconnecting usb or changing setting on / off on storage MTP, the battery immediately drops to 1%. This is happening in US,UK and India too. I got my phone 2 days back and tested and yes it does happen. The battery reading goes wrong once you enable / disable MTP, I'm using my phone on 1% battery level for 4-5 hours. Its still asking to plug charger coz battery is low but keeps working since battery is there, just indication is wrong. I'll just wait for battery to drop for real so it shuts down and then charge to 100% and maybe then it will start showing correct battery levels. [Update: The problem is due to some network problem. The calls which everyone knows fluctuate on the phone, the fluctuation is there and the voice quality also goes down coz of it. On my other phone - Micromax Canvas, there is no fluctuation.] Everyone is busy telling how good the phone is (though it is), battery problem is there in many devices, read back reviews and some might mention it. Everyone is still ordering tons of this phone. -KitKat update already done and problem still there. No more stars till the issue is fixed. Oh and if you're wondering about the "Ok google" not working then set the language to English-US, not UK or India and then it will work. UPDATE: The battery is still not fixed. Enable / Disable MTP on any Moto G and the battery will drop to 1%. It shows 1% but it works for hours so just the display goes wrong.

I have been using this phone for 3 months and I am facing lot of network issues. Most of the time this phone cannot be reached by the person calling. Also, during the conversation it automatically goes to no network mode and call gets disconnected. I have to wait for few minutes for the network to come again. Previously I thought there might be some issues related to network operator. But I tried with other operator also and I am facing the same issue. There is some defect with the phone only. I want the company should take appropriate action against this issue so that users like me would be satisfied with this phone and recommend others also to purchase the same.
Best Phone in the range!
