Review after 3 months. Pros: i. Has an amazing design ii. Battery life is good iii. Display is awesome being an IPS panel iv. Performance is top notch v. Love the Camera. Happy to have 60fps option in 4K vi. ZenUI has really been upgraded. Its more snappy now. Cons: i. Tends to get really warm if you use when out in hot weather. ii. If AI charging is on, most of the time you won't get the quick charging. iii. After system update, acts a little weird for a day or so. But its fine after one or two reboots. vi. It would have been good to see higher MP in wide angle lens. v. Due to all metal n glass design, at times it gives up on signal strength (Wifi and/or Cellular) Even after all the cons, i'd still choose this phone over others in the same or higher price range. It sure is Bang for the Buck...

I don't know why everyone keeps on complaining about battery and camera.. they can't understand it's an AI enabled phone which takes time to adopt usage patterns.. when I bought it I got average camera and battery life too.. but it's 10 days now and phone has become a charm..there is only 1 issue updates have to be downloaded manually from Asus website and then installed.. I would only highlight problems listed about battery and camera.. Battery - when it was new I got about 4-5 hours screen on time with heavy usage. Now it's up to 8-9 hours. With Normal Usage My Phone lasts upto 2days with still 5-8% juice left.. Camera - It was overexposed at first and edge detection issues.. Now After 10 days; It has improved alot.. Everything works charm. Portraits are clear just. And man with its pro mode.. a Good Photgrapher can take great shots it's such good. Low Light performance is a Charm to eyes. AT Last I would say 2 things.. don't judge any device at the day first you bought it and write your stubborn reviews. update this phone to latest update it's about 1.6gb.. it becomes alot better.. gives you Many features even flagships like note 9 also lacks.. second thing; people compare it with one plus 6 man; it is alot better than that talk about it's poor speaker quality and camera performance for low light which is crap. 5Z kills one plus 6 in every way. Besides; talking about battery; one plus 6s battery is a total crap. And Believe me.. After 10-11 days of usage; My 5z Charges 10-98% in 48mins. Bought this under Diwali Sale for the best possible deal. Was using Zenfone 3 before this and compared it with One Plus 6 and 6T before buying and without any thoughts went for Zenfone 5Z. ~~Pros: (A) Rear AI CAMERA is quite good and improves with time for automatic scene recognition. Gave wonderful results in low light during night. Depth mode is decent. Its not a potrait mode, it's a wide depth mode, the same being offered in one plus 6T now and is different from potrait mode of One Plus 6. (B) Performance is very good and swift with Snapdragon 845 and AI NPU. (C) Battery is good, easily runs for one day with heavy use. (D) ASUS ZenUI is improved this time and has less bloatware as compared to previous models. (E) AI Color Temperature moderation is very good. (F) External SD support, though after 256GB you rarely require extra space (G) Display is quite good (H) Phone's design give you a premium feel and you will love it. (G) FAST charging support. Takes maximum 1 hour to charge from 0 to 100 percent. 1 to 25% in 5 Minutes of charge ~~Cons: (a) Wide Angle camera resolution could have been improved. (b) Front camera potrait is thought good, but the resolution could have been better as compared to other phone's front camera in market these days (c) Asus is quite slow in providing updates as compared to Stock Android providers, but that shouldn't be a big problem.
