Received the TV within 1 day of ordering, and just another day more to get it installed. Awesome service as promised by flipkart. Happy about it. Would begin with one negative, probably this is by luck in my set, received a faulty remote control (not quite faulty, but it misses the spring in battery chamber, the Philips executive has made it work makeshift with a conducting wire, and has promised would be replaced soon). Anyways, it does work fine currently. Coming back to the TV, 1. The design and aesthetics is simply awesome. Probably this being a very latest model (Released in September/October 2014), the looks and design impresses way beyond any other tv in this range. 2. Picture quality is simply superb, While the HD channels have got a different dimension of clarity, the SD channels have got a finer touch as well (Pardon, if I am being too biased, but this being a personal opinion as compared to my previous LCD tv and other tvs I have tried out). Haven't quite tried out Samsung/Sony Latest products, so won't comment on the comparable quality of this. 3. A lot of reviews have spoken a bit negative on the sound, but I feel okay with it. Yes, it hasn't quite got superb bass/treble, but c'mmon if that is the audio quality we expect, we can always go for a home theatre, lets not be harsh on the TV for this. 4. 3 Years Warranty is an added advantage for this TV 5. The TV has got quite good response time and hardly lags in detection and mode switches Well, what else do we require from a TV? 40 inches LED TV from the Brand of Philips, with a 3 Years warranty for which I paid 24.5k (after my old LCD exchange), I am quite happy about it and would definitely recommend

WOW !!. .The most beautiful TV as far as I have seen.Trust me even Sony(My fav), Samsung and LG don't have an offering with extreme thin bezels(border) which was my requirement. .The horizontal Philips branding part looks very premium kind of design.. .Detects USB drives very fast. Movie play is hassle free. .Table mount and wall mount are very beautiful. .Sound is loud enough with DTH connection. Cons. .Low USB movie play volume with select movies only & some movies sounded loud enough.I overcame this limitation by connecting 2.1 music system using 2 RCA male to 3.5 mm stereo female cable to AV out. Works very fine. Very very happy with the purchase.. Excellent value for money..

I got tabletop installed by myself and this review for the people's who are all having some oscillations over this Tv . This TV has good ( Medium ) Clarity for normal Cable Channels and Extra ordinary for HD channels , coming to Sound section and there is enough sound for the TV mode ( Cable or DTH ) and Low volume for USB mode .( As per most reviews we can easily tackle this issue by connecting Speakers either 2.1 & 5.1 ) Other than this everything will satisfy yours thoughts even the slim design. And most of the reviewers said there is connectivity problem will happen once it has wall mounted by we can easily overcome this one by connecting extra cables ( I dont know the exact name for that cables ) So this things might not be a show stopper, So go and buy it without worries and u will get delight once it open his eyes . USB - All most al the formats supported as much i tried. Go and Buy it , Because it's Philips :) :) i said everything here from my heart and i know the real value of reviews because based on that only i had bought this. So just follow your heart meanwhile this TV deserves more. :) :)

I wanted a Full HD TV with a 40" screen. Saw the great reviews of Philips 40PFL4958 which is a 2013 model. This a 2014 model and a very recent launch on Flipkart I think. Flipkart delivery is superb as usual.. Bang on time.. Though I hold a small grouse on the not so courteous male CS exec's who couldn't give me accurate info on the exact delivery time.. Booked on the 21st evening and delivered on 28th as promised. Exchanged an Old CRT for this beauty. The installation by Philips staff was excellent. very curteous, knowledgeable and prompt. First things first this one is an absolute stunner.. The slim bezel and beautiful finish is absolutely stunning.. Here are the pro's - 1. 40" FHD LED tv @ 28k.. What more can one ask for ?? 2. Very Slim and stylish. 3. Picture quality is very good. Video's played from my pen drive and HD DTH are simply stunning.. 240 Hz motion is good and did not find the soap opera effect as prominent as I had thought. 4. 3 year Philips warranty. 5. Very decent inputs.. 2 Hdmi, 1 Component, 1 AV and Usb. 6. UI is quite fast, pleasing and intutive. 7. Pen drive / external HDD was recognized in a jiffy and playback started fast and is quite smooth. Played Big movies ( Over 2-5 GB ) smoothly.. No stuttering.. 8. Normal digital cable STB also gives a decent picture.. ( No upscaling ) 9. Lower power consumption compared to the older model's ( 75w vs 100w ) Cons.. 1. Sound quality is weak as is expected from slim LED's. The sound is quite tinny and totally lacks any Bass. I would gladly recomend this TV to anybody looking for a budget LED TV with no extra frills.. It's a steal @ the price being offered.. hi all I am using this LED TV for 11 months now, it was working fine but now getting issue with display. it is showing green bluer color, I have some pic as well but #flipkart do not provide attachment feature. now I have raise a complete with customer care, as per him TV display having issue and needs to be replace. I don't know this TV will work after rapier or not, having bad experience with #Philips. I will not recommend to buy this LED TV to any one. Thanks Kapil Sharma

Loving this and a great deal at a great price. Flipkart delivery was on time. Pros: • Great Picture Qualityon D2H HD, USB as well as PC through HDMI. • Sound is good enough for D2H. • TV design and stand looks beautiful. • Philips the brand. • Price. Cons: • Picture settings are somewhat limited, can't calibrate the individual colours independently. • The menu UI not the best to say. Thanks Philips and Flipkart.
