You look at the picture quality of a 4K TV and you are looking at the result of some really serious R&D effort. I had to undertake some R&D myself to arrive at a decision of purchasing a 4K TV because of the choices available, and more importantly, because I had to spend 1.5 lakh rupees. The ratings available on the internet combined with my general affinity towards Samsung's flagship Smartphone, made me purchase this 55 inch Samsung KU 6470 4K TV. My other choices were LG UH7700 and Sony X850D. The moment I switched on the Television, I realized that my decision to purchase this product was vindicated. Clarity and Brightness definitely blew me away. Contrast is excellent. Color reproduction is commendable. But the killer feature is the upscaling. I played some 1080p videos and immediately realized the power of UHD upscaling engine. The picture quality is so good that for certain moments I felt as if I was a part of the scene / song / movie being played, not just viewing it. The sporadic availability of 4K videos is not at all an issue as the 1080p videos combined with the upscaling provide enough visual treat to the eyes. Apart from the amazing picture quality, the smart function clearly surprised me. The ease of operation and the intuitiveness of the operating system just enhance the visual experience to another level. The only downside is the requirement of a high speed internet connection. So, overall, I would pat myself on the back for purchasing this beautiful Samsung product. Guys, if your budget is anything closer to a Lakh rupees, adjust your budget upwards and purchase this marvel, you will pat yourself on the back too.

The product is amazing and a delight to own. The pricing offered by Flipkart was unbelievable, the overall order & delivery process was extremely simple and professional, the communication was continuous and clear. The installation was done up within the mentioned date and the Samsung service representative was extremely helpful and clearly demonstrated the product features. Though I had some inhibitions in placing the order for a TV of this size over an online medium, now I am a happy customer and would happily recommend this means to others who have such inhibitions as well.
