REVIEW AFTER 2 WEEKS OF USE rating: 3.5/5 PROS: 1.Value of money. You cant even think about a smart TV at this price. ( i am not considering iffalcon, kevin ,vu or any other kind of alternate) 2.Good sound quality , initially i thought 20 watt speakers are not enough but they are enough for our small living room. 3. Patch wall is good and user friendly. You can use it like your phone. 4. Two USB ports. you can use keyboard or mouse along with HD or Pen drive. 5. Internet Connectivity is good. once you sign in with a WiFi. it will automatically dectect and connect to it. 6. Having regular updates. I have already updated once in two weeks. 7. Hotstar , netflix, sony crackle, youtube and all most all live streaming apps i installed working fiercely CONs 1. Picture Quality is not that great but it is good. ( you don't expect sony or panasonic HD quality) it's not full HD. but it supports almost all good quality movies in my lap. we cant play high quality bluerays on it. 2. 2,3 times TV showed error on screen. that time i had to restart it. sometimes fails to boot up with pen drive connected. 3. No wall mount available with Tv. I don't recommend Rs.399/- wall mount that Jeeves providing . It is not safe , when you push Tv from bottom it will fall down, there is no screw to lock. It makes me hard to access the USB ports. You will be forced to use a M/F USB connector 4. Built Quality is average. front frames around panels looks like cheap plastic. But you can neglect it comparing its perfomance. 5. Typing is harder with the remote. 6. play store is not available. you have to side load apps using USB. But if you install aptoide Tv app you can use it like playstore. it will help you to download all necessary apps through it. OVERALL IT'S A GOOD TV. IF YOU HAVE ONLY A SMALL BUDGET AND YOU NEED A SMART TV. JUST GO FOR IT.

I was in a great confusion among "mi TV 32 inch" and "Thompson 32 inch" both had almost same features . but I was worried about the after sale services of the Thomson TV because in my area there was no service center. coming to mi TV 1)The picture and sound clarity is very brilliant . to know that well you have to play a movie of 1gb size and you can clearly understand the picture clarity. Sound is also perfect . it has much loudness. 2) the remote is simple . but it lacks the switch for mute 3) the TV doesn't support any Google services so apps related to Google cannot be used. (drive, playstore,games) . I have installed VLC media player and many such which doesn't caused any problems . and I am satisfied 4) the remote should have the voice search facility even if the TV support the feature 5) the power on/off indication in mi TV is the worst one. there is only a red led and it blinks for 3 sec when power is on after that it goes off and no further indication. same when we press the power off button blinks for 3 sec and goes off but the TV 's plug is still on 6) the usb ports should have been some gaps . it is difficult to plug in two usb at a time. 7)the TV response very well I think I have covered all the fields that I noticed . the new falcon TV introduced by Flipkart itself would be a great competitor for mi and Thompson TV at the same price range. Before buying this consider the falcon TV as an option. I found voice search in remote for that TV . I am not pretty sure of the UI details of that . but mi has the Best User interface feature

PROS 1) Value for money 2) Speaker quality is good 3) Patchwall OS is good and lots of content. 4) Picture quality is standard but not excellant 5) Standard build quality CONS 1) Though the display is LED but the panel used is LCD. It would have been better with IPS display. 2) Dolby sound output is not working from HD DTH ( any company cable DTH ) box as this TV support only DTS sound. So you have to satisfy yourself with stereo sound. 4) No Google play service to download application and Games. 5) Inaccurate colour display particularly black and red. 6) Diffucult to read scrolling text in news channel like Share price, news highlight due to haziness and average 60 HZ refresh rate. 7) RAM and internal memory is low if compared with Chinese version. Overall the TV offers a good package considering the price. But it is not that good as per the hype it created in the market. If budget is not a constraint then you must go for Sony, Samsung, LG else you can consider MI TV 4A full hd led tv if budget is below Rs.25000/-
