This AC is best in 1 ton ACs. i ordered after reading all types of reviews and i found that this masterpiece deserves 5 star. it cools quickly and there is no noise. indoor unit is so silent and outdoor unit in my case is little far so i cant notice any noise. i always use 6th sense feature and it works amazingly. and at last who gave negative comments specially about cooling please check your room dimensions and proper sealing and first learn to use its features. and dont compare its blower with higher capacity ACs. Whirlpool service in my case is excellent.

It wont bite your pocket with Iseer - 5.14 » Convertible option is an added advantage for smaller rooms. » I used to operate in 25°c in cool mode. It consumes 4 units for 12 hours being my room size a bit large. In C1 mode around 2.89 units for 12 hours. » Good cooling and air throw to have a comfortable sleep. » Sleep, Dim, Eco, 6th sense mode serves its purpose very well. CONS: » Takes longer time for ambient to reach the set temperature. It is designed like compressor not to consume more energy by avoiding heavy load. Hope installing in smaller room nullifies this issue. » Remote without backlight is a major disappointment at night. » Noise level is bit high. (Indoor&Outdoor) » Technicians are not good enough in Demo. Whirlpool should brief their employees atleast about technologies used in their products. » Build quality is not that great. » Wind gustling sound is observed in indoor unit some times. Overall a decent product in this price segment.

Received different and older model then advertised, with different ISEER rating and different power consumption units per year and different Cooling Capacity. It creates some noise as soon as you start ac for 10 minutes then afterword's it works silently . No Self-clean Function as advertised you won't find any button on remote for that. Cooling of room is good. The convertible feature is not useful for 1 ton AC as 0.7 and 0.8 mode will take much time to reduce temperature of a room by 1 degree . Installation will not done by directly by Whirlpool, no water outlet pipe is provided also not having 3 pin connector (16amp) with ac is provided. The fan in outdoor unit is made from plastic. If you have small room you can go for this AC.i will update my post after 1month usage.
