cools well. mine is a 15x15 room. I leave the AC in 26 and ceiling fan in 02 speed setting for perfect set for a good night's sleep. I set the timer for 4 hrs and turn on the sleep mode. This setting it worked for about 7-8hrs of pleasent sleep for me in summer. cooling is not as efficient as split or window but it is a tremendous effort saving and installation cost for a person who is on transfers every 3yrs. Bundled it with a nice voltage stabilizer and 2 yr extended warranty. so hopefully will have a peaceful experience with it! Good for people who move around frequently and have no option of modifying windows that come with the rented house or govt quarters

Very good for rooms that are in 12x10 or in similar range. Keep your expectations realistically aligned with the product category, takes around 12-15 mins for full cooling effect, tried & tested in hot days in daytime (courtesy lockdown). It is a very good product for rented houses and for small rooms only, do not compare with split AC or window AC and have high expectation. Considering the price and uniqueness this is good step up from air cooler. Reviewing after 2 months of exhaustive usage.

Good for those who are staying in a rented house and there is a possibility of shifting frequently (because of its easy installation, no need of a technician). definitely its not a replacement for split or window models. Every model has its pros and cons. comparatively less efficient but still does its work properly. Cools area less than 100sq ft within 10-15 mins. (If you are using it frequently than you can feel the cooling effect within 1min, right after you switch the ac on) Those who wants to chill the room without using a ceiling fan shouldn't go for it. I am completely satisfied with the product. Put ac on 22-23 and also switch on the ceiling fan for better circulation. Good for humid areas. One thing to consider- Manage with minimal length of the the vent pipe. Best part is you can take it anywhere you want and use as per your requirement. You can shift frequently without any help of a technician and you don't have to spend anything extra for it. Don't know about electricity consumption.. Using it since last 2-3 days only. Hope this hepls.

for 10*10 feet rooms it's fine but if room is bigger don't buy this.

Perfect if youre in a rental. Sealed piece was delivered to me (something Im Paranoid about) so no hanky panky. Great price point too. Its compact and easily wheelable to any room. Just make sure it faces you while you sleep, and its really chilling. The ducting has to be done carefully, so as not to leave any gaps for 5 star performance. Remote is nice, with info screen and glows in the dark. Not sure if the water outlet needs to be connected or I let the water remain inside, as technician will not visit for this install. Will look it up when I have time. Overall satisfied with the purchase. Thank you Flipkart, or should I say Walmart?

Hi there, anybody who is looking out for this product be very clear about the working of portable AC and your actual purpose of purchasing it. Basically this cannot be compared with the performance of a conventional Window/split AC though the capacity mentioned is 1Ton. It just will not bring the chillness those conventional AC does due to its inherent operational limitations. I purchased it since i cannot install a conventional AC in my apartment. In hot & humid climate like in Chennai where i stay, it helps in lowering the temperature to around 28-30°C at night. Pros: -Can install this unit yourselves and no need to wait for demo. -Best option when a conventional AC cannot be installed in your place. Cons: -Needs to connect the Draining point somewhere safe to drain the water. In bed room usually there will be a drain point hence needs to use a bucket. Needs to put a bucket with suitable size depending on how much time you are going to run the unit while sleeping. -Power plugs are needed and will not fit in normal 6A sockets. -Cannot achieve cooling of a 1ton conventional AC. Considering my situation i am just satisfied with this product.

Used it for more than 30 days. It definitely gives a AC feeling but is VERY SLOW in cooling. It gives u a good night sleep if your room is small. installation is not a problem at all. It consumes a lot of electricity. my bill before buying this was around 400 rs and now it's 2000 .I run it at 28 degrees on sleep mode where it is suppose to save electricity. Would only recommend if you stay on rent and have a nagging landlord like mine. It also stinks after sometime you do not drain the water on time which accumulates inside.

Product is really good. It can cool 12 X 12 room in less than 15 Minutes. (Kept the temp. at 23). Also auto cut off is working like Split A/C. Design is really good. Very compact. ONLY FOR DEMO BLUE STAR PEOPLE ASKED ME 550 RS + TAX. And i rejected it. One can easily understand the functions if you have used normal A/C's. Fitting the outlet pipe is little tricky if you have non sliding windows. Because all the fittings they have provided is meant for Sliding windows.

Idea is different but it's not portable as it seems, only if u wanna remove it in winters, one exhaust pipe always attaches it to the window which heat up when it's working.. so AC uses hot air making it less energy efficient, more insulating material can be used. The swing only works around horizontal axis for the other u need to turn it manually. All in all if u have some specific reason to buy it then only it's good choice.
