First to clear the air, people who have no concern about the quality of a product they are buying, please do not comment. A company provides different lineup of products to cater to people with differing tastes and differing tasks. If that does not cater to your taste, just say it is not for you. Do not go yakking about things you do not know or understand. People who are to buy this product are ones who dont care how many cores the processor has, or indulges in PPI wars over small displays or yak about how many apps she/he has on their phone. This is a product for serious people looking to buy something with exquisite quality and providing most of the functionality they expect to use in a phone. This device looks great, feels better and does everything you expect in a feature phone. It is built to last (Please.. please do not compare it with the "toys" offered by Sony, Samsung, HTC, Micromax, Lava etc). It has great network reception and voice clarity. If only it offered WiFi.... Heck, does not make much of a difference.

Actually, problem is not with the phone but the people, dumping their lack of commonsense on the pretext of reviewing this phone. Most of us have gone so blind with value for money that we fail to notice finer aspects of life, and aesthetics being one of them. Don't know why Nokia stopped manufacturing new model like this one. Completely rock-solid body. Sand blasted aluminium at the back , with gorilla glass for the screen. And to top it 5 MP camera with flash. I bought it from a nokia store and got a 16 gb memory card free. Supports facebook, whatsapp, line, wechat, hike, twitter, even have a gmail app. Dual gsm sim supporting 3g. If you aren't a android freak, i would suggest you to go for this.

I have always been a nokia lover!!...did purchased 720 5 mnths ago...nw i wanted a fone for my mom...After realising her specialisation in touch screen i decided to stick with the bar keypad.After taking all d knowledge of nokia 515 from d nokia boy...i decided to go for it... at first i thot it was over priced but wen i used it for a few days i realised its an engg masterpiece from nokia...i bet u hold a 10000 samsung n take dis one...anyone would have a look on this fone(515)...its none of the world of plastic like from other companies...if u want a rich lookng fone go for it...dnt need 2 thnk b4 buying a nokia essential fone...m happy with this fone... its response is what its made for... Pros- 1.good to hold...aluminium body does give a rich feel 2.sound z good... 3.camera shots if nt best r also nt worst...(u got LED flash here) 3.keys r soft and responsive 4.display z also good. 5.call sound quality z way above d fone in its range. 6.3G z too fast...a wifi & wifi hotspot was needed. cons- its a dirt magnet...u need to clean it every nw n den... other than that u knw what the fone's is capable of... finally concluding go for it if u prefer quality over value for money...i must say its nt for weak hearted...people wil talk rubbish about this fone...but if u knw d actual meaning of quality...u will let the dog bark..

1) Its a dual sim phone with no bluetooth. 2) no GPS 3) Screen resolution is not even 16M colors. If you research well you will come to know about the Nokia C5 ( 5MP camera version, the one with the key pad ) . It had a steel body ( very tough ) and it had GPS and MAPs as well. It used to retail at about Rs.7500 to 7999. It had a screen resolution of 16M colors. This Phone is very very thick compared to the new age phones. i expect a phone like this to be no more than 8mm thick, simply because it has very few features. I now know that nokia had produced a phone ( the nokia C5) that had better features and was as rugged and was selling it at a lot cheaper price.This maximum price I would pay for this phone is Rs.6000. If I buy this phone at the price FK is asking for I will always feel like a BIG FOOL.

I waited long for this phone to be available for sell..because of the aluminum finish of the phone body. Had never imagined this will be priced so high that sets it apart in the basic phone category. who will buy this phone when the same feature sets are available @ much cheaper prices.. Either this phone will disappear very soon from the scene or I am sure there will be no buyers for it...

What is the difference between Nokia 301 Dual sim and this nokia 515.Bot are same,features are same ,battery life is same but the only difference between there two is of camera of 5MP with LED flash.Otherwise contact memory is reduced to 1000 only and amount wise difference is approximate 5000 INR.This doesn't contain even wi-fi,whatsapp.Look wise this nokia 515 is good and very light but performance wise not so good as expected.

Using the product since the 2 years. Good Product for a Basic Phone, Good Battery Back up. Does not hang up like a Smart Phone. The Earphone could have been with answer button and stereo feature.

I got this this phone for my mother. The phone is just beautiful. It's almost reminds you off the way mobile phones used to be. It's has an aluminium back and it's solidly built. It does run Symbian OS and it's rather simple when it comes to feature. But it has WhatsApp and Facebook and my mom isn't complaining. It supports dual sim, supports 3G and that's about it. You get solid keypad with great feedback and a good screen and a battery life of about a week. If you are looking for a phone to outlast zombie apocalypse or if you are looking for a phone for your mom or your grandmother who have suddenly discovered technology, then go for it. It will look pretty sitting in their handbags and will not look out of place when placed next to maybe an iPhone.
