The most reliable tab within this price range and it comes with a lot of super useful apps. I have purchased it from Flipkart and has been using it for two week now. Battery : Good enough. Doesn't drop by a single % on 8hrs stand by. Dropped 50% after watching entire The Hobbit : Desolation of Smaug 1080P without any lags which was awesome. Sound : Better and louder than most of the tabs I have seen including Nexus 7. Rest of the features are as good as they are advertised. I didn't expect the camera's both primary and secondary to be this good! However that depends on my perception. The inbuilt camera extension apps are awesome. Although I am facing one problem which I am not very sure of the reason! The tab is not being able to obtain a GPS Fix from satellites. If any one else is facing the same problem, then please inform. I took it to the ASUS service center in Kolkata and they told me that I need to use a sim card to obtain accurate GPS fix which I have not been able to test as of now. Hopefully that is not a problem and I am expecting it to work considering the satisfactory quality of the other features!

-Its a good quality tablet, best tab in this price range . -It doesnt lag while using it . -Although , its not for very excessively heavy games but its performance is good.I can play most of the games without lag. -Best part is its dual sim with voice calling which is hard to find in this range -The camera quality is not good . - asus is a reliable n good brand I'm happy with the product and would recommend it .

I bought a Asus Fonepad 7 during the Big Billion Day sale. When we unboxed the product found that the USB cable was missing !! Even though flipkart has refunded 400 rupees for that I am not happy with this incident.I am left with the hassle of buying USB cable as well as carrying it around along with the charging cable !! If I view any video on Asus fonepad available in the internet it shows that the product should have a micro USB cable along with the charging adapter.

i like the design specially the matt finish at the back, it gives the device a distinct look. The display is fine but the viewing angles are bad. For moderate use the device performs really well, if you are expecting heavy multitasking support then ill suggest spending a few more bucks. The speakers are great and the touch is also very responsive(i loved it). For moderate use device hangs rarely.The device is a delight to use, it fits perfectly in the hands, screen is responsive and the display is nice (increase the brightness and the problem with viewing angles will decrease). I would recommend it to the people who want to use the tablet for the first time or who want the tablet for reading and entertainment including a little bit of gaming (hardcore gamers should avoid it). Also in this price range no tablet has better specs and dual sim facility together.

This is the first time I have ordered one tab Asus FE170CG from flip cart.Please find below my feedback; 1) Delivery of product was awesome, Product delivered to me with in 20 Hors of ordering. 2) Before ordering I had gone through with some reviews , In which some customers Lodged a complaint that they found some accessories missing in box. But I was in a good faith that It may be a error from manufacture end not from Flip cart end.But quite surprised to see that same thing happened with me also, I found USB cable & adopter missing in packet. So please take care before ordering this tab. I doubt that someone is tampering the packed boxes. When I asked Flipcart about the same as per them they have clearly mentioned that customer will get charger only. So my question is that If manufacturer has mentioned usb cable & adopter+charger in packing contents then how can flip cart provides only charger to customers.CIts a clear evidence that box is being tempered by some agency. 3) Regarding tab, I can't say anything, may be software & hardwares are also being changed by some agency before delivering the product to customer. So My recommendation is to do not buy with this tab from flip cart , buy it from some other site. at least you will not get tempered products. Parth

I purchased ASUS phonepad FE170CG from Flipcart in December-2014. Now The screen is damaged and touch is not responded, when i contact to customercare of ASUS, they are asking to mail HO of ASUS. Meanwhile i contacting ASUS service station near by me in Gujarat (Vadodara and Surat), they are asking me the price between 4500 to 6500 Rs. They have not proper prize of Particular Part. Even tablet price is 7000 rs and One part price is around 4500 to 6500 rs, who it is possible? Means ASUS cheats the customers. So my suggestion is don't buy ASUS product, choose any genuine brand for support to the product after purchasing it.

A tablet you would love on first sight! The tab comes with Intel 1.2GHz processor, which is the best spec. of all for only 7k. I tried hefty games with this tab (250mb) but amazingly they worked without even a glitch!!! The display is a bit compromising but are not too noticeable'! Only a deep look will reveal... The Anti- finger print coating is nothing but a lie.... you can see each and every trail of your finger and also your face make sure you always carry a cloth to wipe fingerprints with:P !! Next the rear camera is satisfactory at normal natural light, but the secondary camera has been compromised. USB data cable is not include for which I received a partial refund from flipkart. The software 4.4 Kitkat as told is not currently available! But on inquiry, it was told the manual and auto updates will be available by the end of October 2014.... At this price, voice calling is a boon! So, i would suggest you to go for it if you are at a budget of ?>9000 #WhyInsideMatters #IntelInside

I am starting my review with a big Thanks to flipkart for fastest possible delivery as always :) ! Well, I have been Using this product since last 2 months, & without wasting time I am coming to the points that I got or I felt after Using it. PROS: It has a Good Build quality ,Stylish, Slim, Touch Response is flawless , You can play High ends games like "Asphalt 8 Airborne" with out any Lag, and one more interesting thing is It has a Scratch proof Display "where Screen guard is not recommended" by the OEM (ASUS), You can shre your 3G Internet to your mates , It has a very Fast Bluetooth V4 and like so on.. Its a nice Phone pad but not the best as I told earlier. BEST FEATURES: Sound Quality is Awesome in this range. Battery is great, I got more than 7 hrs Back up while watching Youtube and Internet and played a bit games too.. CONS: Its has a very disappointing front Facing camera where we need a 100W Bulb to do SKYPE video calls even in the day light :/ and the Primary camera is of 2Mega Pixel is so so... WORST PART: Although the Display is quite Good in Color and seems HD but the VIEWING ANGLES ARE THE WORST PART. means in Vertical Position the Tab is absolutely fine but when you rotate the Tab to watch YouTube or even play games etc you have to see the display from an angel. :/ ASUS could have resolve this issue before launching such product, where its a primary thing. Well, I will suggest this Tab for durability, Feels good in hand and branded. Good Luck !

solid build quality product feel is good. Batter then Samsung low end tabs. Goods Touch is responsive, performance is good doest not hang occasionally, asus smart power saving settings is a plus, display is good for 720 p above average. gsm phone call quality is a plus, nice and strong build quality product does't seems cheap. battery backup is good. wifi hotspot seed is fast. bad or not so good product cant receive automatically network INTERNET settings you have to fill manually to surf Internet via 2G or 3G GSM Sim card. Blue tooth can only received pictures and videos cant received .psk or other software format or android apps via bluetooth u cant send or receive apps via blue tooth u have to download it via play store. viewing angle is not that great, camera is just okay not great, important stuff whats in the box 1. no data cable 2. no headset or headfones 3. wall charger cable is just too short ( charger doest belong to asus manufactured via some third party company) overall the table is good for surfing calling hobby games messaging texting facebooking and easy going stuff. it will not disappoint you. best tablet under 7000 mark.

Beginning with the feel and the build quality of the Tab, It is superb and makes you feel that it will last long. Everything works great until you put too many apps. As the RAM is 1 GB the overall performance isn't all the great when you multitask. The internal memory isn't that great just around 2 GB but that makes sense as beyond that the RAM couldn't had handled the performance. Coming to the Camera, the rear one is pretty decent however the front camera couldve been much better. It really gives you a feel that it's an inferior product. The touch & the UI are amazing When i added many apps the performance went down significantly and only realized that this is not going to work unless i uninstall and keep only the necessary apps. It's calling features adds a lot of positiveness to the product and makes it more worth it. If you just want a tab for basic use like watching movies and having basic funn applications this should be your choice. Battery life is good, unlike the Zenfone 5 Speaker works just fine There's no earphone in-the-box The charger provided don't know if by Flipkart/Asus is duplicate and of cheap quality. I've made complaints to Flipkart but don't feel if they are gonna replace it.
