I am writing this review after using this Hitachi 1 ton three star AC for 3 months. Delivery was on time even during lockdown period of May, superb Flipkart delivery service. AC technician contacted me within given time window and came for installation as planned, as my place was having dedicated AC power point so only AC fixing was the job and he charged me INR 550/ for the same also I paid for the material used for sealing around AC. COOLING My room is around 100 sqft in size, it provides sufficient cooling after 10 minutes of operation during peak hot summer. If your room is on top floor same may vary. ELECTRICITY Consumption It consumes at an average 1.2-1.0 unit of bill for every hour of operation, may vary upon your temperature setting. As it is a fixed speed window AC so electricity consumption is higher compared to split AC. LOOKS & Aesthetic. It makes your room appealing. LED display is not covered so you can expect illumination in your room equivalent to a 0.5 watt led bulb. FEATURES It's a basic AC, so your remote has got simple operating command options, don't expect much. SERVICES Have not faced any issue in last three month, working without any problem. As Hitachi is a renowned brand so expect them to provide descent service. Overall it's a good product in this price range, also window AC are supposed to be rugged as compared to Split AC. Installation is also simple and convenient. Definitely worth considering for budget cooling though electricity bill gonna be higher.

See if have a small room like 120sq.ft then It is must option for u , I have installed this AC in my kids room and it cools the entire room in 5 min if u operator it at 18 degrees , I haven't tried 16 yet but it really will cool fastly . But in the monsoon season like now a days I suggest u to operate it at 25 to 28 degree becoz it is enough otherwise at below 20 degree u would require a blanket for sure. Nice in 1 ton category ( window ) ,also Hitachi has a good brand value. I have used it for 10 days then writing this review. Overall a nice product by Hitachi go for it without any doubts. A like will be appreciated

The Ac is very good, and Flipkart installation service is cheat specialist. They tried to sell me A/C bracket for 750 which costs 450 in the open market. But yes the AC is superb actually, loving it to the fullest.

Delivery boy was excellent and was very polite

On the first day cooling was okay, But on SECOND DAY the AC STOPPED WORKING. Yes, no cooling from 2nd day onward. Mechanic came on 3rd. He told that a chip board is faulty and needs to be replaced. He took the board and fitted it in the AC on 7th day i.e. today. This is my experience with this AC of one week.

1. AC is classic don't expect much with looks. 2. Remote is useful because it has backlight 3. AC makes better cooling 4. Much noisy so it may disturb your sleep 5. Installation was ok ok because they didn't do carpentry work so arrange your carpenter and ply board for sealing of windows

This is my second AC from WS retail. Last year I bought the 5 star version of the same AC. So initially I thought to have an AC from different brand. Even I ordered a Voltas AC from a local distributor but even after waiting for 5 days that was not delivered. So finally I had to cancel the previous order and bought this one from WS retail. Thankfully, WS retail never let me down. Got this delivered within stipulated time and get this installed within two days without any intervention. And the best part even after installation I got repeated call from WS retail to know the status of installation. Now about the AC: - it cools perfectly. For a 10X10 room it takes only 5 minutes to cool. - as with any other window ACs it is not as silent as split AC. But at the same time I won't term it as noise.
