Had almost decided on getting the Vu iconium 50" 4k television when I saw this unit on offer for the same price as the Vu one. Couldn't find much reviews online but decided to give it a try because of the attractive price and the Panasonic brand name compared to Vu. The panel is quite slim and looks attractive. It comes with an attached sound bar at the bottom but do not expect much. I will run the sound through external speakers so this was never a criterion for me. The soundbar appears to be removable but will dig into it later when I have time. Coming to the picture clarity, the black levels are satisfactory for a budget television. 4k and full HD content looks decent. Would have liked bit more options to adjust picture quality especially the backlight. No smart options on the tv but not a deal breaker as several streaming sticks are available in the market. Not sure if there is a 4k upscaler on this one. SD channels looked just average. Update 01/2019: The display panel started having issues exactly in two years and it took multiple requests to get the Panasonic technician come take a look. and the panel costs more than a brand new tv. good bye Panasonic...

Exactly one year two months and the TV goes bad. The company says that it will take 57000 for repairs. When asked the reason they say, its an electrical equipment, anything can happen.
