I ordered a S 4 mini. I opened the box and the phone does not even get charged, no notification. Raised a query on the toll free number and was told that I would be provided with a resolution within 24 hour. No response from Flipkart. Raised another complaint and was given another 24 hour deadline. The person who attended to my complaint was not interested in listening to issue I was facing and was hell bent to replace the charger which can only be provided in the next 7-10 days. Don't know what I am supposed to do with it for the next 10 days. In addition, he is asking me to refer to the fineprints of the replacement policy. Wonder where is the BUYER PROTECTION and 30 day returns!! While you may be excellent in providing the product in the first place, the customer care and follow up response is disappointing. Purchased from WS retail thinking its one of the trusted seller (previously owned by Flipkart). I have doubts whether the product is genuine. I can not understand how such a product be sold. I am actually wondering if Flipkart is only good enough for purchasing sub 5000 rupees products so that just in case if I decide to write-off the purchase if its faulty. In all while I have purchased a 22000 product this time (no price advantage compared to outside), I guess its better to take the pain to visit a reliable store and buy from there.

I had gone through many reviews on the phone before decided to buy. I know it does not have very good reviews on an average. I am not a technical expert, here are the reasons why I bought this phone & how is my experience with it. I wanted - a dual sim smartphone that perfectly fits inside my pocket, yet having large enough screen size Decent battery backup Good RAM & processor ( I was fed up with my S duos). Note, if you are buying a smartphone that has advanced features you should have at least 1GB RAM. I did not find any other phone than S4 mini that serves my purpose. I agree, it's overpriced! I did not have any other option. Rest all are very good as I expected- decent battery backup, no hanging at all, can easily use both the sims without any signal issue, perfectly fits inside my pocket (yet enjoying the large screen). If your requirement is as of mine & if you are ready to pay extra money, go for it! And, hey guys, note! I have seen people complaining on the camera...that the phone does not have a 13MP camera! What are you going to do with 13MP??? Image quality is decided by the lens quality+sensor quality & if these two things are at their best, yes, then you should consider the megapixels! High megapixels decrease the quality of pictures if you do not have a good sensor/ lens. And no phone has a good sensor/ lens. You need expensive DSLRs & lenses to take good high-megapixel photos! 5MP is more than sufficient for a mobile phone if they provide decent sensor & lens.

I don't want very high end phone. My requirement was - +dual core processor +at least 1GB RAM +at least 8GB internal memory +at least 8MP camera +at least 720p video recording. Thats it.. When I looked at this phone... I decided, I will buy it whatever be the price.. [Actually I thought it would be Max 20K] But what the hell samsung think it is doing? 28k for my "basic" phone? Definitely NOT BUYING THIS CRAP! Edit : If micromax can build and sell their phone of same specs at 15K, then why the hell samsung is charging so much? Ans : Bcoz we are fool. I'm not comparing samsung brand with micromax but hey, look... Neither micromax nor samsung builds their processor (whatever qualcomm snapdragon ARM etc..) They just assemble and sell it. Now both have Android which is opensource. So actually Android devices should be cheaper. (And yes they are, just look at other alternatives.) And if you look at the bones of this phone, build cost for this phone is not more than INR10K. [just google it]. I would have bought this phone if it was price below 20K max. [I'm still giving 10K extra on it's build cost but thats okay. they deserve it.. But 27K.. ?? Just Get the - - - - off...! ] And one more correction here : I'm not saying that this phone is expensive! I'm just saying that this is overpriced phone! There is a difference in "Expensive" & "Overpriced".. I'll never say that Ferrari is overpriced!! Ferrari is EXPENSIVE!! But S4 mini is not expensive, it is OVERPRICED!! Edit: Quite Okay Pricetag now. But still expecting 20K MAX! Edit : 11thDec : Bought the phone from flipkart at 20600/- I'll share my experience soon.

Don't listen to the people who write crap about this phone. Ill tell you the truth. Its a sleek, very handy and powerful enough phone. It is not a gamer device but its faster in other operations. I've been changing mobiles for a while and trying to settle down with a neat device. I was using a five inch and I know much pain they cause. So I was looking for a phone which is sleek, handy, very less weight, enough stylish (not a attention seeker), powerful enough to save time working with it and was going though a huge range of phones, and what I found is that if a phone is powerful its huge with 5inch, and it weighs more than 130g. Even apple i4 is 130+, while this s4 mini is only 107g. I was waiting for the price to drop and it dropped to 21,450 and I grabbed it right then. Even 23k is worth it. And I don't do software update unless it fixes a bug, so I have disabled the automatic updates and disabled all junk google throws at us (google books, mags, etc...). It saves a lot of time. Take only the apps you need, disable anything else so you can save time to spend them with your subjects and not with these gadgets. Just being human ;)

Hi, I bought my Samsung S4 mini I9192 in end-January 2014. I have been using it for the last around 4 months. I bought this for around Rs.22000, now it is around Rs.18000. Positives - Pocket Friendly, Light weight, Good clarity LED screen. Build quality is Good. Video play back quality is good. Photo quality is adequate. The headphones are not upto the mark compared to the Sony XTRA BASS in-the ear speakers that I bought from Flipkart and I continue to use the Sony one with this mobile. Negatives - for those calling me, my phone is out of range, sometimes, though I am very much at home or at office. In the Initial days, I used to get intimated about missed calls in the same moment I was receiving calls,. or just after the call. So I used to call back, only to be told that they had tried calling me earlier, but were unsuccessful, and that lead to me getting intimated 3 to 4 times for missed calls. Signal keeps varying. I have an Airtel and Aircel SIM for call and net separately. While using my previous mobile, Nokia Xpress Music 5130, there was almost no signal issue. It heats up well during Charging. I don't play games. In Office, it is used only during breaks. I use only FB, Whatsapp and Internet, youtube rarely, hear music for around an hour in my office bus. Yet a 100% battery ensured at 6.am ends up being 20% by 6 pm. So if I want to go out in the evening, it is difficult to manage. Summing it up, Battery is inadequate. Cost is on the higher side. Signal issues prevail. A phone that cost around Rs.28000 initially, bought when it was Rs.22000 now costs around Rs.18000. Does that mean the earlier buyers were taken for a ride? that too by a Global branded company....Profit must be reasonable. Beyond that, it is....... These are my observations. Decision, to buy or not, is yours.

This is one of the better looking phone from Samsung stable. After using it for two days I can confirm that there is no network issue in the phone and as soon as first boot up of the phone it gets the firmware upgrade. Now coming to the unique features of this phone, 1. Compact and hence looks beautiful, believe me or just visit a nearby showroom to have the experience, it looks better the s4 becoz of its sheer compactness. The bezels are as small as it can get and hence the front is covered by screen itself. 2. Only mid range phone from Samsung with super AmoLED diplay and hence the screen though qHD looks great with bright colours. 3. Only dual sim phone with really decent internal specs (apart from HTC One Dual but then its not midranger). 4. Apps can be moved to SD card, Samsung had stopped this feature previously but have re introduced it and hence the valuable phone storage can be extended to some extent. Rest everything is detailed in flipkart spec sheet, but I would like to give some suggestions. 1. Genuine Samsung branded S-view cover for this phone is available in the market and costs around 2,000 bucks. The S-view window on this cover, works really well and adds a very professional look to this already handsome phone. So if anyone wants it I suggest to surf the internet before purchasing a local case. 2. Do not root the phone, as I don't know how but Samsung are really clever at detecting the same and forget warranty, even OTA updates will also not be available after rooting. so IMHO its really not worth it. This is a phone for those who crave for really good specs in a smaller size and add to it the dual-sim capability it gives all other mid rangers a run for there money.

Saw lot of reviews about this phone. So many skeptics but I personally like the spec. Good for gaming and we can expect a best android experience for this spec. Was waiting for the prices to drop to less than 20k. Bingo, I got the offer for this diwali - (Oct 2013) Price : 22900 - 15% cashback (3435) + Free-bies (Plantronics ML2 Bluetooth Headset + Maxx PBS-26-SDI Smart Charger ) Effectively, I got this excellent phone for 19465 with useful freebies. What more can i expect? Good deal eh? :)
Product might be good but your are better off purchasing it from somewhere else!!!
