Hello FK Byers :), Product - Voltas185CYA 1.5 Ton ***** Location - New Delhi Delivery and installation Staus - I purchased Voltas AC on 28-May and it delivered by next two days. And after delivery installation team took followup and next installation completed. PS - Installation not done by Voltas Team( As per FK policy for 30 days replacement does not cover) however it has been installed by their third paty. i.e - "Jeevs". Installation person was not too much qualified as branded are but they worked very well as they do such job in daily routine. You can go with that. Now come to Product - Indoor Unit - 1. This is good in looking functioning properly and sufficient features for domestic use. 2. Remote is okay, In night no you may face issue to see remote display and buttons. So it is drawback. 3. My room size is 14*12 and after turning on withing 30 min cooling effect started. Outdoor Unit - 1. It was very noisy not moving fan but their compressor. I set upped this unit in my balcony and after installation i found if i try to sleep adjacent room of balcony, tough to sleep :( Buyers can purchase this product but before go with FK please please compare price with market price. For me - Its a good product can be purchase but with offered as i purchased. Thanks, Ajeet

The product was delivered by Flipkart on time. Looking at performance of the product it is just awesome no question about it. ISSUES 1) The remote should be provided with LED light or other so that it can be easily seen at night it just has radium in it which dims after sometime and hardly can be seen at night. 2) The other drawback was the installation process it was really hectic service person were not well trained enough to install AC. Drilled big holes, Irregular piping work And just took Rs 3700 extra. Overall good Product but can come up great after fixing remote issue and installation process.

crap installation support. there is a water leak in the indoor unit. calling flipkart and installation guys every day for last one week. They promise to resolve the next day. No one turns up. attaching image of water leak. once they fix (if they) I need to paint this area again. don't buy in flipkart. They suck . .

Got the AC delivered quickly as usual with Flipkart. Nice and Secured packing. Cools the room quickly. Very less noise. Great functions and 5 Star rating at this cost is a win win position. Got call from both Flipkart and Voltas for the installation. Lot of followup from Flipkart. Highly recommend to all planning to purchase in a given price bracket.

My room size is 14X12 feets and its start cooling within 3 mins. The person who came for installation charged from me Rs. 2700 (Including 1500 - installation charge, 300 - pipe, 900 - Out door unit stand.) But they will not give you proper demo about the product. Overall after use of 1 month I am happy but the out door unit is little Noisy.

This is a very nice product, which is available on the most reasonable price on flipkart. Thanks Flipkart for a timely delivery. The AC is effective in terms of its cooling capacity. My 11.5 * 12.00 sq feet room which has 3 doors and 1 big window with ample sunlight.. it starts cooling very fast. With in half min.. there is significant temperature difference. The product is not very noisy. the product looks good after installing. The remote is having radium display which makes it easy to search in the dark. Regarding the installation - they charged me 2300 rs [ no additional parts were required to be purchased from outside]. The information they gave me is that they have contract with Voltas. Flipkart opened the work order for the installation and then the installation company followup with me till the time of installation for the proper time of installation activity. Overall its a nice buy on the reasonable amount with satisfactory services!!

Nice product. It cools pretty fast. But be aware about the various after sales service hassles a customer has to go through. Extremely poor service from Voltas & their engineers were unfriendly & arrogant. Do make sure that installation is done by Voltas engineers rather than someone from Flipkart. Later it might be a reason for debate once the warranty period is over. I would never recommend VOLTAS to anyone just because of its after sales service.

Under this price range I think its a steal deal on Flipkart. I really like this AC in my bedroom (15x15ft). Cool my room in no time and also the design has a classic look as well as LED display on the panel looks modern and easy to understand on what temp the AC running. Remote is also very good but need to add LED back light in it to see the contents at night. The sound is very slow you will barely notice. Overall I'm very much satisfied with Voltas 185CYA 1.5. IMPORTANT! - Do not get this AC installed by Flipkart technicians there are pathetic and unqualified local guys. I refused to install from them instead I have called my regular AC guy who done a marvelous job. Highly Recommended to those who wants 5 star AC in this budget. But if you can afford go for oGeneral, Daikin or Hitachi 1.5 ton SplitAC which is close to 60K but worth it. I already have oGeneral and its a great machine. Last but not the least. I'm a regular customer on Flipkart and this website never ever spoiled my mood. Always treat me as I'm on there priority list. I just got my AC within 2 days and that's amazing blazing super fast delivery. EXCELLENT SERVICE BY WS RETAIL !!!

I read the reviews that installation team is not good but thought that it varies from city to city. For city like chandigarh it should be good. But 1. It is very difficult to get suitable timings from these people. As a working class person, we are not always available in the day and they dont give timings for evening which is not the case if we go to any shop in the market 2. I mailed flipkart team that if I get the product installed from my electrician, will it void my warranty. For complete 1 week, I keep on getting the reply from flipkart that we will answer your query tomorrow, but no reply and finally I took off from office and got the product installed. 3. The insulation of copper pipe is very bad and it is visible from outside at many places which mean lot of energy will be wasted and efficiency of cooling will come down. They take the same amount of money as market rate but dont do all the work and say this(drainage pipe, clamping, etc) is not our work
