Got my Vivobook S15 today. Here are my reviews. Delivery : 8/10 (2Days) Packing : 8/10 Looks : 10/10 (Premium Finish) Keyboard : 8/10 (Keys are widely spaced) Screen : 10/10 (USP) Audio : 7/10 Average Webcam : 2/10 (Disaster) No caps indicator. Performance : Haven't Pushed it yet. Fine till now. No fan noise or heating issue (as claimed in some reviews) Backlit is Okay. Touchpad feels great. If that helped, give it a Thumbs Up :)

Great laptop .Very fast and smooth .I am doing computer simulation in my laptop .Good heat managment .Initially it was not so fast.To make it fast follow the following steps. 1. Uninstall Antivirus 2.Unistall Asus Gift Box 3 After uninstalling restart the laptop 4 go to task manger - disable drop box 5 Do hard disk partition .In windows 10 it can be done without the help of any external software .

GooD product ... Still testing ... It heats up on right palm But it's all normal For now I am getting 30sec boot time Backlight keyboard has 3 modes brightness I think it is good deal for 60K, I bought it for 59999 on EMI for 9 months, and writhing review from same laptop, I usually don't play any games so can't say about games, but for video editing , it made my 5 min normal transition video in Adobe Pr in 8 min good comparatively. For heavy work like if from AE same will take nearly 30 - 40 min, and doing this laptop will heat up hence reducing performance. Heating is major issue since due to it we can't use it whole power i5 8th Gen. Since all don't work in AC cooling system must improve and also the screen plastic is not too well attach. I will soon post photo of it.

Outstanding performance except its build quality & it is confirmed that it comes with m.2 sata 3 ssd port to upgrade.

Writing this review on the same laptop... Verdict if you don't want to read the entire review : This is really the best laptop that you can buy at this price. Now the detailed review : 1. The screen : Its a really good screen for what you are paying. A full HD ips panel with good veiwing angles, what more can you ask? 2. The keyboard : The keyboard!!! I have no words to describe the keyboard on this laptop, its the best keyboard I've ever used. You'll have no problem on getting used to this as there are no weird layout issues. One thing that may bother some people is the exclusion of the num-pad. But honestly that cannot be a deal breaker as there's a lot to like in this guy. 3. There's no need to comment on the performance of this laptop as the specs say enough about it. A core i5 8250U combined with 8GB of ram and MX150 graphics card is just awesome. The performance is not as expected out of the box because of the bloatware, but as soon as you update everything ad get rid of the bloatware this works as a beast. 4. Battery life : This laptop easily lasts me a day with occasional surfing on the internet and movies. I still need to test the battery after gaming and software but I'm sure it won't disappoint me. I'll update this review after extensive testing though. 5. Now here's the first con I found with this laptop. The storage which is 1TB HDD is really slow. Inclusion of SSD would have been excellent. I'll update this review when I test software and games on this device. I even am planning to open it up so I'll inform you if there's an option of upgrade.

I bought it a week ago and this product is really good. Pros: -Performance ( including graphics intensive tasks and games) -The screen is lovely -Backlight keyboard -No overheating issues ( as I read in a few reviews ) -Battery life is good, 5-6 hours on normal use ( it depends on what kind of work you are doing, for example if its graphics intensive, you probably won't get more than 2 hours of use ) Cons: -The webcam is horrible -Speakers are good, but not loud enough ( they are decent ) -No caps lock key indicator -Comes with lot of pre-installed softwares, but you can uninstall them. The Laptop will be sluggish on the first use, just uninstall the McCaffe Antivirus and it will return to normal.

I am using this laptop for 2 months but the performance is worst. It take almost 5 minutes to begin the home screen.The disk usage is 100% while using, due to Windows 10 bugs.This problem is not yet fixed. There is no high lighter for caps lock on/off. It's light weight.

-- Update 1 -- After uninstalling 3rd party AV, de-fragmenting C: drive and updating windows 10 to the latest, the laptop breathes fresh air now. Once the laptop is received, first thing to do is to create a local admin account (certainly not Microsoft account) and install all latest Windows 10 updates. Because this step changes the entire perspective about laptop. This is a wonderful laptop at an affordable price. -- Old Review -- pathetic laptop I have ever used. exchanged my first gen i7 Dell Studio for this. there isn't any pro. just a lot of cons. haven't gotten rid of these issues despite doing a fresh reset of Windows 10. 1. Dead slow boot time. Takes close to 10 mins to boot. 2. Windows goes unresponsive if you open an explorer and Chrome (with optimised settings) 3. filled with bloatwares of absolutely, no use. I just made a big mistake of buying this.

The build quality of the laptop is phenomenal considering the price range that it falls in. Screen quality is stunning. Keyboard could have been better. But the reason for one star less is because of the rubbish speakers. they're the worst speakers I've ever heard on a laptop. Edit: there is a little bit of light bleeding from the display.
