Worst phone on this earth...... i bought it 2 months back..... i wasted my all the money on this phone....screen cost 19000... not LCD.. Just front screen.. so be careful before buying. To Motorola(If yo are listening):It fell down from very low height. screen broken. I am not able to use it now becuse glass partical started coming out. My phone is packed now(Not in use). Please help me to get my screen changed in possible cost. i am ready pay upto 8k. 18900 is too much to replace only front glass.. If i have to pay 18900 for just screen i can buy different better phone instead. My LCD is perfectly fine only upper glass is broken. At least be practical in product accessories cost. I was a big fan of motorola and i invested my all hard earned money into that. but end of the day this incident sucks.. plz help....plz help Motorola....

I have been using iPhone since 2009 till mid 2014. Bought HTC One M8 and used it for 4 months till I dropped it in water and it died. Being impatient and rebellious I dared to buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 but then silently sold it for 10K less in just 4 days. S5 had huge specs, the best in town but it was not "usable". Meaning I missed 7 out of 10 calls when the phone is place on a sofa or cushion or bed due to its surprisingly low volume and this happened even if the place is quiet. Secondly the heat of the phone hurts if you use it continuously for just even 15 mins, not just the battery but the screen becomes horribly hot. Then the every irritating and gimmicky TouchWiz. I don't know what is worst on earth than this. Hence I was desperately searching for a "usable" phone with high-end specs. Moto X is what I was exactly looking for. Design: It has this metal frame which just feels premium but also helps your phone remain cool. The rubber back provides great grip and the Moto logo dimple is pretty helpful for increased grip while your on a call. The bulged metal speaker grills feel quite good too. Software: The OS is pure Android with non-intrusive modifications. This phone shall be one of first non-nexus phones to receive the much awaited Android L update. The phone has cute little animations that pop-up on the home screen itself that will pleasantly surprise you. I love the bed-bug. The specs are are fantastic and have been tweaked to use the power only when its required. The Moto X's Moto Display is absolutely useful. You won't believe how helpful it is until you have used it. And on an average it use less battery than when you repeatedly wake up the phone to check notifications. Audio: The frontal speaker is very loud and clear. It has a rich output but not as good as HTC One M8 tough. But having used to M8's sound I personally didn't find it to be that bad. Its more than average. The phone comes with very ergonomic earphone with reasonably deep bass but

motorola has had released previous versions for cheaper costs...but this phone is a priced a tad higher because what you are looking at is a flagship beast.... i have used it for almost a week now... PROS:- ++5'2" DISPLAY (you'll just love it!) ++TOUCHLESS CONTROL (just make up your own launch phrase and bam!) ++DESIGN (premium feel...far better than most of the flagship phones out there) ++LIGHTNING FAST! (no lags!) ++PURE ANDROID (yes! it's a pro cos you are gonna get updates as soon as the latest android version is released!) ++SPEAKERS! (they are a bit LOUD than htc one m8) ++NOISE CANCELLING(you have four mics placed at different places for that!) ++SIZE(just fits in your hand...and your finger just sits on MOTO symbol at the back while holding) ++PREMIUM BUILD(aluminium framing around it and a custom back! doesn't get better!) CONS:- --BATTERY-moto should have gone for a better battery..but still not that big of an issue..(i have used it from 7:00am to 10:00 pm with 3g internet usage..a bit of gaming...etc.) --STORAGE(16 gb is good enough for me but an sd card slot should've been included) !NOTE!:-- if you are a avid gamer you may have to reconsider your decision... gaming experience is too good..but a lousy battery kills it off! :( CAMERA...i wouldn't say it's a con..it's just good enough and not the best OVERALL regarding the speciality of this mobile you have a seperate processor for processing your voice commands....gesture silencing of calls..and u need not unlock your phone to look at notifications..(moto activedisplay) sensors placed in all the right places! ;) just go for it! A UNIQUE SMARTPHONE! it's time for you to say HELLO MOTO!! :) :D

Ordered this phone at the moment it became available :) one day delivery and it was there in my hand at 5pm in the evening Have to tell u the most amazing part is the display and the looks , Its so subtly crafted and everything feels so natural in hand The moto logo is prominent and is the resting place for your index finger , all so natural it feels amazing got the normal black variant as i was not too sure about how the leather would hold up in harsh indian weather.. the looks are amazing , its so thin and lightweight , zippy and smooth Active display is great and save battery, I have not set up moto voice and all yet will get back with that in a week Complaint : only 10gb available out of 16 and no sd card that will be a constraint for some users but i think 10gb is more than enough Camera is nice , way better than the last one... Buy this and you will not regret it

Motorola again provides their flagship product which is great deal considering the price. Moto X(2nd gen) is a simple android smartphone providing stock android expeirence with additional facilities like Moto voice which enables you to change the launch phrase and provides control for third party apps like facebook, whatsapp. Moto X is insanely fast with its Snapdragon 801 2.5GHZ processor. Moto display is more innovative this time and all the additional features are really helpful and not just crappy. It also promises Android L update as soon as it released. Camera is pretty good with 13 MPX with ring flash and insanely fast but in low light, the pictures are not so good like in favorable light conditions. The build is also awesome with metal strip round the body provides an elegant look to the device. Overall a great phone and a must buy for android lovers.

Ordered the device as soon was it was available (25th Sept 12:00 a.m) Got the handset on 26th at around 12 p.m The packing was adequate. The device works seamlessly. The feel of holding it is great. Some might feel that a 5.2 inch screen would be quite huge, but if fits perfectly in the hand ! Being stock android, the UI is great. The device responds well. 10 gb (9.72 gb precisely) available for user. I don't think it as a downside. What's the point of owing a smartphone if a person desires to store everything on the sd card. The device paired quickly to my Dell laptop and the file transfer took place without trouble. I am a very light user, hence 2300 mAh is enough for me. Remember, Nexus 5 has the same capacity battery and still it works great. Moto X has Snapdragon 801 which is optimized to work with less resources ! Android L coming around the corner. It has a feature of called as Volta to enhance battery life, hence no need to worry about the battery life. Unfortunately, though costlier than Moto G 2014, this handset does not have dual speakers. That being said, the sound quality is great. I've used the headset as well and the sound quality is crisp and decent. The camera works well, though the quality is a bit grainy sometimes. I still have to try 4k recording. Personally I am happy with the camera. Google has an inbuilt app for image enhancement and for adding effects. I have to try that as well. Google now works great. Nexus 5 also has this feature, but many commands are not available in our subcontinent (Allowed only in the US). Google Now in Moto X 2014 has all the features and respond to the commands. Snapdragon 8XX series has inbuilt mechanism for voice recognition. Remember ! having the 'hotword' feature on will have an impact on battery life, since the phone needs to be 'hearing' always. Remember, no phone is perfect ! I found this device suitable for me, and I am happy it suits me perfectly.

I am among the previledged few who got the Moto X (2nd Gen) among the first in India. My initial expression on unboxing it was WOW!!! So sleek, so sturdily built. Look are amazing no doubt. I am facing a little heating issues. Don't know if it is this particular unit or across all the phones. Will play it for a couple of days and if the issue persists, will be going for a replacement. It completely blows away HTC M8. Believe me I have used that phone for over 6 months before it was stolen. Edit : The heating issue has subsided. it is no longer persisting. All in all an awesome phone

Ordered the phone yesterday morning, opted for same day delivery, got the phone by evening. Quick and prompt delivery by Flipkart. This might as well bet the most good looking Android phone ever to come out. People say Galaxy Alpha is better looking, but the Moto X beats Galaxy any day in terms of class. The metal body frame is especially brilliant, the first time you hold the phone, the phone exudes coolness, both literally and figuratively. Display is great. Full HD 1920 x 1080 AMOLED. I felt no lag whatsoever, with 2.5 GHz processor and a 2 GB RAM it is unlikely to happen anytime soon. I don't game much, so I can live with 16 GB internal memory, of which 10.56 B is available. Good enough, but I wish they included external memory card slot. The BEST feature? Voice control. And what makes it even better is that you can personalize and custom name your assistant. So instead of saying "OK, Google" you can cal your phone whatever you want. I have named mine Athena. It was crazy awesome today morning when I woke up and I couldn't find my phone and I screamed "OK, Athena, TIME!" And the phone replied me back the time from somewhere under the blanket! Relieves me from a lot of frustration. Also the wave facility is pretty cool. Just wave over the phone when it is locked and the active display will sow the time and all the essential details. You don't even have to touch it! Good speakers and sound. Touch is fluid and smooth. Concerns : I'm a little concerned about the battery. 2300 mAh is good enough to last a day if you aren't an avid app user. Otherwise you are doomed. Phone heated up after 1 hour charging. Doubtful about heating problems. Camera is not great even with 13 MP. It's just good. Overall one of the best Android phones out there which is cheaper but equipped enough to compete with all the giants like Galaxy, HTC One, and iPhone6 and Lumia 1320.

Many good reasons why it's four star but here are two reasons why it's missed the fifth star: * Just 2300 mAh capacity which definitely would not be enough given the 5.2" screen * 32Gb built-in memory wouldn't be enough for a mobile with FHD recording feat. Either 64Gb is required or a mem card slot is required Nevertheless, this is a masterpiece without any doubt :-) In fact, despite the above two reasons, this is my dream mobile ;-)
