Its been 2 days I've been using this product - it's fantastic!!! As expected - Flipkart delivered the product in less time than expected. I am on an project assignment in a town in Haryana, I expected this to be delivered in a week's time. But it was delivered in 2 days. Awesome service from flipkart. My unbiased and honest comments on this product: 1. Absolutely amazing battery life - more than 24 hours of "on time". "Standby Time" would be around 80 hours. (Not kidding, really it is) 2. Aluminum Alloy body - its light yet strong and scratch resistant 3. The Best Thing - it's in-built back stand: gives you proper grip to avoid it slipping from hands, useful in keeping it at a desk - its perfect - an engineering marvel I'd say. 4. User interface is good, it not sluggish - video playback is great. I dont play games anymore except online pool or something - hence can't comment on game play on this tab. 5. Sound of this tablet is good. Dolby sound software makes the playback sound of movies better, but the volume is not enough. Maybe a usb/bluetooth speaker would help if you watch movies a lot. 6. I wish Lenovo would have supplied a headphone in the box. 7. It renders heavy web-pages quickly. If you have a good 3G connection then surfing the web would be pleasurable. 8. Google Play store has many good apps - Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Whatsapp: everything you need. 9. I was expecting that MS Office Mobile would run on this Tab - but MS Office Mobile is launched only for mobiles - not for tablets. There is a King Office or something that came pre-installed on the device - it gets my work done. 10. Email app (I use Gmail for work and personal) is very good. To summarise - this is what I was looking for in a Tablet - absolute paisa wasool. I strongly recommend this tab for non-hardcore gaming users. Its value for money and a very good example of good engineering designs.

I am editing my earlier review due to bullshit after sales service and design issues. The sim is stuck inside the damn tablet and it wont come out. Service center has no idea, neither is anyone else in the entire market. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The delivery from Flipkart was awesome as always. This tablet is quite handy, easy to hold and use especially because of the built-in stand. Setting it up was easy, except the fact that the normal sim needed to be modded a bit before the tablet finally accepted the sim. The lenovo UI is simple and easy to use and hence does not take up much memory. The tablet is quite fast but it is still missing some essential features like "play to DLNA" device, etc. Overall a decent product with very less documentation, little or no support minus a few essential software features.

look everybody...this review is for those who use this for normal use not for the gaming ones. i brought this from a lenovo store in kolkata and they gave me slight discount with all the accessories. i was in cloud nine because i was able to get them both in single occasion. secondly the user friendly was good..not much of a disappoint. infact fine, though it lags little bit when opening documents or pdf, it working simply fine for me. dolby sound was great though the headphone was kind a not-so-great. infact it was very classy when songs played with its clear sound. hd videos played fine. ohhhh the battery....its the hercules of batteries. it is really a 16 hr one. the calling is not used extensively so no comment. but the holding of the tablet is simply the best, will remain the best for ebook readers. just awesome. casing from lenovo is just perfect and the screen guard was really helpful. thogh the backside get finger impressions...... i ran at single fro 3 hours without sleep mode, it was not that heated as expected. 32gb sd card work fine and yes still now all format played smoothly. 1 negative "was" - the screen flickered sometimes at row for 4 times once. otherwise running smoothly. look we all probably who own i5or i7 notebook, don't actually use it as such, so its(lenovo) specifications was normal for me. buy it for battery, design. rest is all the same.

I knew yoga 8 isn't a top performance in benchmarks or run games like asphalt without any lag because i don't need them at all. My purpose of my work is well suited and yoga 8 fits them in all category's,say like 1.Battery is the key essential part of my work which carries more than 14 hours of day on a single charge with very HEAVY usage. 2.Sound quality is awesome when compared to other tabs. 3.I don't like to wear the flip covers on any smartphones or tablets which spoils the looks of the design and doesn't need third party to stand still position. Thanks to lenovo the kick stand (Hinge) which is really essential to use in 3 ways. There are many pros and cons on every devices, but this one to my eye is the lenovo's sluggish interface.and should have come with better processor. The delivery was within 32 hours from flipkart and have no problems in packaging or defective product or ever, its excellent in service.

Bought the YogaTab for 15K from FK. The price makes is more expensive that the std. run of the mill 7K to 8K budget tabs, but its worth it.... 1. Build - One of the best looking gadgets/tabs out there. The aluminum integrated standard is quite functional and the hinge really lends itself to a good grip on the tab. Overall feel puts a smile on the face. 2. HW/OS - Run of the mill 1.2Ghz dual core processor, the tab works smoothly but has difficulty in handling complex games. Net browsing, Youtube etc. is all good though. Runs on 4.2.2 Jelly bean with lenovo bloatware on top. Its mildly irritating but overall good experience. Special mention to the mammoth battery, 6000Mah is possible the best you can buy in market, the Tab gives a min. of 10 hrs usage on heavy load. 3. Display - 8 inches is decent, color reproduction is very good. Low ppi of 190 means all premium tablets like Nexus, Kindle HD etc.look better. Mind you, 190 is still quite good for this form factor, no issues with web browsing, or apps but Videos would have looked better if ppi was in 250+ range. Overall, this is a decent buy, but with Lenovo announcing an HD version of the 10-inch sibling (1920X1280), it is possible that the 8-inch model may also get a resolution upgrade. Suggest potential buyers to check this fact out before buying. If the extra resolution is not really a big deal for you, then go for it....you won't regret it.

I have previously lenovo a3000 tablet, but this tablet is so far better than a3000, amazing video quality and Icons configuration is excellent. Battery life is very good. sound quality is also very good but less than Lenovo a3000, it has also stand , that means you can watch videos and movies without any problem. Defianately go for it. with amazing superfast service from flipkart.com

I had ordered this a month ago and had been using since then. I don't want to comment more about flipkart delivery since it has been praise worthy like other mentioned. Display - 8 inch, feels good to watch movies, youtube, read pdf or browse web. Especially with the unique stand behind, you never wanted to hold it hand for a long time. Sound - the 2 front dolby speakers delivers absolute clear sound when in speaker/ headset. You don't get that quality dolby sounds in any other device. Performance - I 'm not a game addict and use them mostly to download torrent movies, youtube and read PDFs. I did a lot of research on this product about the complaints, the mostly reported being the Micro-SIM card being stuck inside, I did had struggle at the initial 2 trials, but went over a couple of videos on youtube and snucked it in. I never had a necessity to pull my SIM out then. So no issues then. Overall, a good product.

I wanted a minimum 8 inch tab with good resolution for mostly web browsing, watching movies, and with call+3G facility. I had initially shortlisted the Samsung Galaxy Tab3 T311, which is undoubtedly a great device, I have used my friend's tab3 for a couple of days and found it awesome. However, the Tab3 is priced at over 24k, and I found almost same specs for this lenovo yoga8. The samsung has a bit of more ram, a slightly better processor and perhaps a slightly better android interface. I got the lenovo within 15k, and I would say the differences are minimal considering the price advantage. Moreover, the lenovo is equipped with an awesome battery, a great form factor, awesome metallic finish. In a nutshell, if you are looking for a branded tab (not those cheap chinese ones) which looks awesome, has great finish and build quality, has brilliant display, excellent battery backup, with call+3G facility within 15k, this might be the one you are looking for. If you are buying a tab for playing extremely graphics heavy games buy the tab3 t311, although having said that, i would say that till date i havent faced any issues in gaming in the lenovo either.

I recieved this product the next day I ordered it, flipkart is awesome in its delivery. This tab has a stand feature which is very comfortable for watching movies. It gives good battery backup. Sound is excellent. Picture clarity is also good. But we can't have good photoes with this tab. Good for gaming Overall am satisfied with flipkart service and the product.
Awesome Product, MEGA Battery backup - Engineering Marvel!
