Earlier I was skeptical about buying this phone after seeing the reviews everywhere but trust me, its one of the best phones in the price range which gives great features. If you are looking for a medium size phone, then this is the only phone you will get in 5 inch screen with so good features. Only Sony makes such models! If you want to buy a phone of any other brand with similar features, then you will get only 5.5 inch or more screen size ones! The looks, finishing and camera of this phone is excellent. Battery lasts for a day. I didn't face any extreme overheating issues. Normal temp ranges between 30-40 degrees which is common for most of 3GB RAM phones. Thank you Sony for this great phone.

This is a fantastic phone.. Though I have not bought it yet I can say this I is a brilliant package perfect size and a brilliant camera.. Fast processor and it comes with a good camera that is capable of quick focus. I saw a review stating that it is overpriced but this is definitely worth 35K. If u can't afford it stick with phones that are from lava and micromax.. There are two fantastic models now in the market. C5 and M5. Well I would suggest to get this one since it is has more stuff at the same time if u r one who takes lot of selfie and consume lot of media and like playing games buy the big 6 inch C5.. I want people to stay away from spreading false news.. There are people who could afford for a good branded mobile. Don't believe negative people. Search YouTube and follow good reviewers and know it from them instead of people crying about money being spent on some iconic brands. Every good product comes with a price. Sony,Apple you got spend a little to experience the difference..

Battery service is very bad.Looser battery.

Pros: Rich Slim Golden Look + Brand name Battery last for 1 day, Nice feature of Battery Stamina mode to save battery Dual SIM + Memory card option (all three can be used) Light weight Camera quality is above average (not like 21.5mp, but around 15-16mp), also so many modes available to take picture It is said Water and Dust proof - not tried & do not want to try too ;) got this in exchange offer Delivery on time Cons: Slight heating issue, but now-a-days every phone has that it should have by default provided latest 6.1, but still you can upgrade by yourself Slippery due to smooth body, so make sure you get a cover for it. At last, Feels good when there are so many Redmi phones in market and holding a branded phone in price range of 15k. But it seems this phone is taking too much attention, so price has gone up to 22k.

The only demerit is ,it is 4g LTE not volte.so if u want to buy a volte mobile u have to go for other.Otherwise it is a superb superb good looking ,smart working and a very very handy one.so now or never its a phone forever

I had purchased this mobile M5 on 9 Jan 2016 vide Invoice No. SLF02A011020102719 from Croma store Pune, Aundh., after using Sony mobile M5 very happily for Two years. I think I made a mistake doing this. This mobile has major issues: 1. The battery life is being claimed to be 2 days by you. The M@ dual used to give me around 30 hours after a full charge. This one gives just about 9 or 10 Hours….. ??? 2. The mobile goes of for no reason unexpectedly anytime of the day or night, even when the battery has enough charge. Then the switch on button does not work. One has to connect the mobile to a charger or to a PC to switch on the mobile. This has happened around 10 + times in the last 13 days. 3. The mobile goes to one way communication, suddenly. The party cannot hear me and I can hear the party, irrespective of whether it is an incoming call or an outgoing call. And it remains this way until and unless the mobile is restarted. Real top irritant 4. One App downloaded from Playstore, Paid app, used to work well on M2. but on this it repeatedly hangs. I had sent error reports on this may times. but it continues. Is it possible for me to return this mobile? I had an option of buying Apple and I did not, due to the good experience I had with Sony M2.
