I bought this laptop on 20/2/2016 from a local store. Some facts about this laptop are: 1. RAM...flipkart doesn't mention about any expandable ram, but this model actually has 4 gb ram, expandable upto 16 gb. There is one 4 gb ram stick, another unused slot...making a total of 2 slots. RAM frequency is 1600 mHz. 2. Battery life's 3.5 hrs on average, which is OK for a gaming laptop. I haven't personally tested this though, the shopkeeper told me. 3. Works best with Windows 10, processor is rumored to have driver compatibility problems with windows 8.1. However, I think that this might be false, and the latop would work fine with 8.1 64 bit OS. 4. Has a type C usb 3.1 port...which is a future tech thing. Applications for this is rare but being developed. 5. Asus has a 2 years warranty on this model instead of the 1 year that flipkart has mentioned, a wrong specification by flipkart. ADP, however, is not covered. Pros: 1. Great configuration at this price...i5 6200u along with a beastly 2 gb 930m nvidia gpu. There's also a 2 gb intel 520 integrated gpu for low graphics intensive work. 2. Display: Superb matte black finish anti-reflective screen. It isn't the glossy screen type and doesn't reflect under sunlight. Its very friendly for your eyes. Oh, and this doesn't affect the HD display, color production is good. 3.Doesn't heat up excessively while playing heavy games....gaming performance will be mentioned later. Cons: 1. Display's HD instead of full HD, but that's to be expected at this price. 2. Keyboard's not backlit :( . Also, no indicators for caps lock, num lock etc. 3. Glossy lid, which, while looks great...is a fingerprint magnet. The cons really are minor compared to the pros. GAMING REVIEW: I have used this for just 1 day..so I haven't been able to test out latest games yet. So far, this beast is able to run Witcher 2, Far Cry 4 and Dragon's Dogma at the highest possible settings very smoothly. I'll update gaming review later.

Bought it about 7 days back. Seems to be functioning well. Purpose was personal usage with primary functioning in games and video streaming along with some document handling. Has not been a problem till now. Recommend buying MS office with this for full benefit. Also the slightly better than average specs for a casual user ensure that games like fifa, NBA2k and wwe2k among others run smoothly.

I bought this laptop back in May 2016 and let me say, it was a good decision on my part. Earlier I was not quite sure about the ASUS company but now I have a full confidence over it. Its the best budget laptop in the market and its pros tops the cons (which in fact are in nuance). Just go for it....blindly.

It’s performs very well, I purchased this product last year . There is no issues till now. It gets regular Updates and the performance rate is good since the purchase, good battery backup. Good at gaming, runs around 75fps while running games !!!

About FlipKart:The product was delivered in a very good condition, appropriately packaged and insulated using adequate foam and bubble wrap. No chance of internal damage. About the Product: I do not intend to use this to play games, but only for my CAD 2D and 3D drawings, so the 930M graphics is pretty adequate. Although I did try to install FarCry4, because of which the laptop crashed, and I had to restore it. This happened within my first week. No heating issues, but then I rarely put the processor through enough strain. The screen is anti-glare, which is good. But contrast and colour vividity of screen is lacking. Movie-watching will be spoiled for sure. Comes with its typical share of useless manufacturer software, which I uninstalled as soon as I got the laptop. Webcam is okay, although lags at times. The placement of the USB ports is awkward, atleast for me. Could have been more optimally placed. The air-vent exhaust from the fan is directed towards the back of the laptop, which is really a life-saver, if the laptop ever gets too hot..

Hi, Is the exterior as well as the interior dark brown? Or is the interior golden-ish?
