Bought M4 Aqua from Sony Good 1. Built Quality 2. WaterProof/Dust Proof 3. Battery Life Bad 1. Camera Detailing in Low light 2. Huge Bezel space on top n bottom in front , feels large due to that at times 3. Screen Resolution and Colour rendering. I know there has been issues reported of M4 being over heating with high usage , i must admit on first battery cycle it was touching 60*c near camera / top portion. but from next day temperatures are under control even with fair usage. even with 30 mins continuous browsing and photoshoots of 10 mins or so you don't feel the heat. i am not sure with high res gaming it stays the same. Battery is awesome, lasts pretty well for 2 days. My wife has fairly low usage of mobile , it lasted upto 3 days without charging. but with normal usage it will get you through for 1.5 days for sure. Front Camera is 5 mp and performs very well. Back Camera has something wrong as it doesn't give a result that should come from a Sony 13 MP camera. The autofocus is slow and doesn't guarantee a perfect focus in their Superior Auto Mode. i feel they should look into their camera app in next update if any. though photos are decent and it will look far better if you throw it to your laptop or Bravia TV. this is because the M4 screen does not render good colours as well has low ppi resolution with respect to its screen size. with one bottom speaker music is clear and loud enough. earphones came with it are of ok quality. Overall a decent phone with main waterproof advantage and exact similar looks to the costlier twin Z3. You wont be able to find the difference apart from those magnetic charging ports which are in Z3. i bought white. but i felt that black and coral would look even better than white. Happy Shopping!

I've been using it for a week. So far so good. The battery life is honestly much much better. The resolution is brilliant and so is the audio and voice quality. It does heat up a bit at times during heavy downloading, but hey.... Just dip it in water and it's back to normal

No doubt i am a SONY lover, At first i started with Xperia S, Now i upgraded my phone with xperia M4 aqua. I am using this phone from a week and didn't find any problem, no heating issue, no lags. Screen is producing beautiful vivid colors, nice build quality, white color is best in all. Speed and performance is awesome, music quality is mind blowing, no one can beat this. Camera performance is very very good. screen size is perfect for hands. Super slim, easy to use, superb finish back. In short I am in love with this sexiest sony mid ranger. Love u xperia

i havnt purchased from flipkart purchased from a shop. this is a awesome phone by sony Which is providing 4G and also best part it gives a classy look and feel very delighted when u hold this phone. yes some issues with the Heating ... much as compare to other phones.. But just ask a question to yourself " Which phone does not have the heating issue".. if u r going to ask about the phones with the processors like snapdragon 810 and 816 or 801.. then first look at the amount you are going to pay for that phones. and they are not going to provide sound quality like this phone.. THE sound quality as compared to other phones is just awesome on headphones .. even on speaker its very good as compare to other lower range phone. already talked about the looks ..almost similar to other sony's higher range phones. Very difficult to differentiate for an average user of these phones.. i am giving 4 stars because of its heating problem. but if u r an average user this is not a major issue.. some issues as per the reviews with the camera.. but camera is much more good if you copy the pictures to your PC. its because that of screen brightness.. adjust the brightness to proper level then u can see the real camera of this phone... and the last part is battery.. battery is the issue if it heat up .. but for an average user it lasts for 1.5 days.. and 4-5 days if u put on ultra stamina mode. So if u r a user who looks for a premium good looking, mid range phone its a very good phone.. u get 10% discount on flipkart on special days if u r SBI bank user. anything if have missed.. sorry for that..

I Ordered the device on Big billion Day Sale at 15.5K and found it Worth at this price. Pros: IP68 Waterproof (Tested for 5 mins under tap). Good Audio with Headphones. Good Design (but Screen and back needs Protection and Cleaning). Fluid UI Responsiveness . Stamina mode for good battery management( lasts a day of moderate use). Upcoming with Android M Update. Cons: Inconsistent Camera with pixelated photos under normal light. Heating at back under heavy load (like gaming and continuous usage of 3g or WiFi) due to SD615. Display not up to mark for IPS 720p HD screen. Otherwise,if Heating is resolved this phone is great for 15.5k.

M4 aqua has all the capabilities a true smartphone should have. The device has overall 8 cores made of 64-bit architecture which suggests that the device will get the support for a long time. Sony has the build and quality perfectly to attract the mid rangers except its price. Seeing the current competition in India, this device should not exceed more than Rs.20000. There are many device out their with same specs at less cost. Other than this, the device is just fabulous. One star less for the having it overpriced.

This review is based on my 1 week usage. First of all, packaging was very worst and I worried to open that package to see mobile condition. However, mobile seems good. Not excellent product, but good to use. Touch sense is very good, have inbuilt camera apps for better performance. Yes, it does heat up, but feels bit more heat only comparing to other devices, because now a days we can see heating problem in almost all mobiles. Though this mobile comes with other inbuilt applications, you can uninstall them. Usually we use 'Applock" app to lock our applications, which wont work correctly in this mobile. So you have to search some other applications to lock your apps, you'll get right one for sure. Did't test the water resistant concept, have to try once.
