Samsung Galaxy Trend (Ceramic White, 4 GB)(512 MB RAM) - Reviews

I dont understand why so many people have reviewed negatively! Let me get some facts... 1) this is a samsung and is competively priced against micromax and all chinese non OEM brands. 2) people who argue about all specs at this price dont understand that good things dont come cheap. Or you have to sacrifice quality if you get it. 3) there are lots of reviewers who are paid to write reviews. Because mobile is the hottest market nowdays. And this product is aimed at the cheap segment killing the cometition at big display mobiles below 10k that micromax and karbon are targetting. ... If you look for a review by a certified buyer! Beware rival companies can purchase products and write certified reviews. Its the matter of profit and loss... 4) i suggest try the phone at a retailer before purchasing online. Thats a wise buy! Dont trust reviews by unknow.. About the phone.. Its a good buy for someone who is not a gaming freak. But who uses for social networking. Apart its a samsung so it gives a good handset to flaunt. I didnt mention specs and believe me you wont care about that.. Cpu ghz..ram mb.. Its a perfect piece at the given price. Lastly i am not a samsung guy.. But a wise consumer!

First of all I wonder why samsung is still making arm 5 based processors on latest mobiles .. This must be to eat peoples money .. Today everycompany is planning to eat peoples money in multidimensional .. no company is trying to satisfy poor or on budget people .. I have duos s and it is always touching 500mb + ram and it is hanging like hell .. I really request not to buy these samsung mobiles especially the budget phones ... But my note 2 is just awesome .. but so many people cannot afford it .. NOT TO BUY

It's a good product from samsung as per its cost. But if you want go for gaming, you have to spend more expenses. It's good for general use of anroid or caters all of our essential needs... No doubt, samsung is best in mobiles or #2 after apple.

I didnt buy this phone from flipakart. but I used this phone many times. This phone is recommended among low budget. I dont use this phone for gaming. Pros: 1. wifi is good 2. 4" screen and touch is too good 3. almost latest OS 4. handy 5. Good servicing centres Cos: not found yet If looking for low budget phone, Please go for this

I have bought a couple of items from Flipkart this year, and this phone being one of them, for my Mother. I am extremely delighted by the response time Flipkart demonstrates everytime I order something. They delivered this phone much before time. Also, as far as the phone is concerned, I can say its a complete Paisa Vasool. Except for the camera quality and lack of a Flash, the overall look, feel and function of the phone is great. If someone is looking for a budget Phone with Latest version of Jelly Bean (4.2.2) and a fairly big screen of 4 Inches, they should definitely buy this phone. The phone is sometimes less responsive due to Low RAM, but then how much do you expect in 8K. Go for it, its completely worth it, if you are ready to compromise on some features, while cherish the others.

I sax this mobile in my friends hand and the first question I asked was- Is it Samsung Galaxy S duos? You probably know that every samsung phone follows the same design and its hard to compare. I feel like I am in China( everyone looks same). Its got premium look. I would give 5/5 for it. Backcover is easily removable. Its perfect for one hand tying as 4 inch is best size for messaging. Display is good and colourful 4/5. The biggest problem I noticed was it had only 8% free RAM after installing a bunch of apps which were not even games but common ones such as Whatsapp, Facebook, UC Browser, GO Launcher. I managed to bring the free RAM level to 25% using MEMORY BOOSTER app from google play and set automatic boost for every 10min. Touchwiz launcher is very heavy so I installed NOVA Launcher which is good and takes less RAM. I also played Asphalt 7, Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 3, AVP Evolution, Dead Trigger 1 and 2, etc. First 3 were not so smooth but payabl nvrtheless. Its good not best. Micromax Canvas a74 better

samsung is doing wonderful job in providing quality product at reasonable price... samsung never shoot in air.. first of all .. u cant compare samsung with the company which nowhere close in brand race..u may get sum extra feature at less price wat samsung offer .. but wat abt quality, durablity..aftr sale.. performance and there are so more things which othr company cant offer.. if u wanna compare then compare with company like sony, htc, apple, nokia which are trust worth company.. and then u will know wat a fantastic job samsung is doing.. And samsung is not fooling ppl its providing them wat they need in bettr way ..

I got this phone from flipkart. The delivery was in 2 days...hats off flipkart for your fast service. Coming to the point. This is a nice phone and you must get one if you thinking to get a quaity phone in low budget. We must not trust Micromax, Lenovo and all that stuff.

Cons: 1. Only 512 MB RAM. OS not gonna work hang free on that. 2. Camera is disappointing. 3. Slow Processor. Tasks performance very bad. 4. SAmsung Touchwiz really eats into the RAM. Games hang. Here are other options you should consider 1. Nokia Lumia 520. The phone has a 5MP Camera. WP 8 Amber OS. The OS never hangs/ lags. You also get so many free goodies like Offline Maps, Nokia Music free for a year. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Powerpoint, Office 365, Lync). At this price point thats a steal. Even for OS choosy people, try going for WP phones. You'll be impressed. If you MUST Insist on An Android option is the HTC Desire C. But given the amount of Nokia Apps and Office I don't think Desire C makes sense over the Lumia.
