I was using iphones since 6 years. So it was a brave decision for me to make a shift to Android (mainly due to heavy peer pressure) and thus i did not want to experiment with a very expensive phone, so i decided to buy the A3. Brief summary: Advantages: 1. Size !! i am not a person to carry around huge phones with 5' screens. the A3 has a 4.5' screen and is sufficient to have a wonderful experience. 2. Battery: im a heavy duty user. (70 mins talk time, 3-4 hrs whatsapp, 100 emails) and the phone survives from 9am till 6.30pm. and this, with a medium screen brightness and 3G on all the time. so im pretty impressed. 3. Looks: The A3 looks exactly like the iphone. its classy and being a full metal body, its superb to hold. Its soo slim and the sleekness definitely turns a lot of eyes towards the phone. 4. The OS is fast and smooth. no hanging, no delay. wonderful experience. 5. The camera (primary and secondary) is quite good. Drawbacks: 1. The screen resolution is slightly low. it doesnt matter in normal usage, but if you take a pic and try to zoom in, then, due to the low resolution of the screen, the pixels distort the photo. 2. The speaker is on the back side of the phone (nxt to the camera) and so when the phone is kept on the bed / sofa, it becomes tough to hear it ring.

Bought this phone recently from a Samsung store. I've been using this for about 2 weeks and I’m pretty much in love with this phone. What I like: - Sexy and metallic unibody design (unlike the usual plastic design of Samsung) - Gorgeous 4.5” Super AMOLED display, with Gorilla Glass 3 - Responsive touch, no lags at all - Excellent battery life - Very low SAR value, about 0.34, among the lowest you’d find in any phone. iPhones have SAR values above 1. - Noise-cancelling microphones - Non-removable battery – I don't like the hassle of removing the battery to insert the SIM/microSD card - KitKat 4.4.4 with 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage - The 5 MP front camera on this phone is just outstanding. The Grand Prime also has a 5 MP camera, but the colors and the quality of images/video are far better in Galaxy A3. I've compared the front cameras of both the phones in the store. A friend also commented that my front cam was really good during a Skype video call. What I didn't like: Honestly, there’s nothing that I dislike about this phone. I do wish the phone was slightly thicker – it’s so thin that you sometimes feel it may slip out of your hand. The volume levels are good but could have been better. And the vibration is not as strong as I'd have liked. Although the Moto G is also a good phone, it's SAR value is almost 1.5 (check the Motorola forum). The camera's on my A3 are also far better than the ones on the Moto G. As for Xiaomi Mi 4, there are so many negative reviews - I'm glad that I went for a trustworthy brand such as Samsung. If you're still unsure, check out the A3's review on GSMArena.

Amazing to hold phone in hand feels like iphone 5s . compact sturdy slim phone. looks premium. performance wise good smooth silky,. but I don't like screen quality.only qHD looks like usual old samsung phone..paying 20k come on samsung ..if it is HD display and crisp then it is classy piece.. Looks nice feels nice..if its ok for screen quality then no problem to buy

The product is Fully amazing and please do not compare Samsung-The No.1 Brand with others small brands because if it has low features then also it can run all the aplication smoothly which a 2Gb Ram phone can.Just go with this phone because it is having 1gb Ram but it beats Samsung galaxy J2 2016 in performance, Camera,etc... in low light photography also everything is just blurred in galaxy J2 2016 camera but the A3 have everything clear and no noise better than the galaxy J2 2016 in all ways. Also slim and light weight Having less ram but performing better

If you can afford it go for A5, as this phone is identical except for the following: 1. No Gorilla Glass 2. No LTE 3. 8MP instead of 13MP Camera. 4. 1GB less RAM. The Lenovo Vibe X2 also offers better specs & LTE with identical build quality for Rs.20K. As such the only differentiation factor of this phone is its smaller screen size, which was one of my requirements. If budget is not a constraint, there are much better compact phones like the the Xperia Compact Z3 or even the iPhone 5s. If you're not crazy about metal bezels, the Lenovo A6000 offers nearly identical specs for a LOT much lesser @ Rs.7000, its also light weight and only 1.5mm thicker. This phone has very little going for it, and given the omission of LTE in Indian market I find it hard to recommend. For now it remains the best looking compact sub 20k phone, and if you're keen on one hand operation, this phone is your best bet.

I have been using this phone for the past 3 months . Overall an above average phone . Decent perfomance, battery. Bright display. Camera is above average. Well built with good looks. Light weight. Accessories are decent too. Cons -------- No nfc No 4G No 5ghz Wi-Fi band support Resolution could have been 720p instead of qHD Could have had 2gb ram instead of 1gb

Brought this for my father, he wanted an extremely light weight set as he has recurring pain in his thumb and index fingers due to medical issues and this fits the bill at 110 grams. this is a good performing hand set full metal body with 4g support and even with 1 gb ram this performs better than some 2 gb ones. the new touch wiz is good to use and light weight (may be they toned it down for this low RAM device) but i love it over the old one. if this fits your bill for a low cost light weight premium looking device then do buy.

people compare saumsung with other brands like motorola, xolo, one plus one etc. But they should know this phone comes with an all metal body and is comparable to the likes of iphone. Phones of the above mentioned company have cheap plastic body and samsung has its certain phones like the grand series with plastic body at the same range these brands sell their phones. So firstly know the full details then comment on anything. P.S-this phone has a very premium feel.you ll love it when you ll hold it in your hands.
