This is worst then a locally assembled split AC. The indoor noise is in excess of 60 db though the company claims 37 db. The remote is not back lit as mentioned in the specs. The outdoor unit vibrates horribly and makes all kinds of noise. I have three split ac's in my house and five in my office of different makes and this is the worst...even 20k LLOYDS AC's are way better then this, I am pretty sure that these are all defective lots. I am going ahead and challenging Hitachi ( India ) and Hitachi ( Japan ) on this. I have all the test data tabulated especially the IDU noise and will move to consumer court if full refund is not given. GUYS : BE CAREFUL WITH HITACHI. JUST DONT GO BY BRAND NAME ...EVEN THE SHEET METAL USED TO FABRICATE THE ODU IS THIN AND BAD. IT IS HIGH TIME THAT THESE SO CALLED GLOBAL BRANDS GIVES US THE SAME QUALITY AS THEY GIVE IN DEVELOPED MARKET. I AM GOING TO START A BLOG AGAINST HITACHI WHICH WILL HAVE ALL THE TECHNICAL SHORTCOMING THAT THEY CLAIMS IN THEIR SPECS BUT IS NOT THERE IN THE PRODUCT.

I bought this AC Rs.26100 in APRIL 2015 which was 3000 higher when compared to other brands like LG, Carrier. Indoor unit is small. Noisy because of airflow. Not use if it is due to cheap plastic Hitachi is using nowadays. If you used hitachi AC earlier(like 10yr ago) thats is why you are going to buy this AC, I would strongly recommend NOT TO BUY this AC. Hitachi AC technician told there will definitely be a need to replace circuit board after 4yr which would cost around Rs.5000. Expecting a longer life. Not sure what is it going to deliver.

After weeks of search online I decided to go for Hitachi 1TON AC as it comes almost in the same category after O general and Daikin. Flipkart delivered it on the day promised and was installed the very next day by Hitachi Installation people. They only charged the standard installation charge 451 rupees that was promised by flipkart. Any accessory that would not come with the AC would be charged extra. Some of the Pros and Cons i observed: Pros: 1) Hitachi Ac's are among the best 2) Cools within couple of mins with the quick cool function 3) The kaimin function is best while sleeping. The AC automatically increases temp after every hour 4)The looks are not bad either, the sleek silver border makes it look classy. Cons: 1) Hitachi should really consider to put temp display on the indoor unit, it lags behind on this from other Ac's 2)The remote has backlight but the quality could have been a bit better.

1.Remote is not with back lit& buttons are not radium,so that every time i need to switch on my room light and i need to operate that remote. 2.No display unit in the AC. 3.blindly u need operate the AC. 4.cooling happens only in the cool mode, auto cool&dry mode fails to maintain the temperature. 5.it has fan adjustment (high,med,low). if I keep fan in high, then it is making horrible noise that I cant even sleep.

nice delivery in 2 days. flipkart themselves called hitachi. next day installed.almost 2000 cheaper then retailer. very nice cooling for 10/11 feet room. no noise. installation charge 1280 (including stand 750). delivery time for stabilizer is 12-15 days this should be reduced to 2-3 days for simultaneous pick.

Hi I m writing this review after using this AC for two Days I bought this AC for 38500 from flipkart where as all local dealers in chennai offering around 44k+Free Single boost stablaizer + Rs 300 delivery charges. But I get it for 38500+Rs 1500 v guard stablaizer + 1300 emi intrest.. eventhough I saved 3k I borought during offer Bought it for my 12*12 feet room and it working perfectly.It takes approx 5 to 10 mins to cool entire room. Ordered on 4 th Sep 10 Pm.Then flipkart committed delivery on 9th sep between 7 to 10 AM. They delivered on 9th sep 8 AM.Then registered for Installation and committed installation will be done within 48 hours. Pros Flipkart service:5/5. Hitachi Install:5/5 AC performance:4.5/5 Cons Remote is very bad 0/5 We cannot get that type of remote.Buttons are very hard to press.Planning to buy a universal remote.

This was my 2nd AC and here are the cons: -Plastic is of poor quality , the remote plastic is also poor , the remote i recieved was badly scratched -The service is the worst it took me some 20 phone calls(3 Hitachi call center,1 flipkart and some 16+ to the different tecnicians who promised me they would come but did not) and over 7 days to get the installation done.. pathetic service , i wonder what will happen if i have to use the warranty -Cooling not to great , my first LG ac with same tonne does lot better -No Display panel on the AC -The design though compact is not styllish at all Day 7: Low cooling , service pathetic .. multiple call to the service centre but no hope .. initiated a return for the order

I ordered this AC and got delivery with in 2 days in Ludhiana. Prior to reaching at my home Flipkart called Hitachi to install it. I am very satisfied by its service. The AC is also very good in cooling and its functions are very easy to understand. My room is 14X12 feet and it is serving the purpose. Thanks Flipkart
