Lenovo P2 (Gold, 32 GB)(3 GB RAM) - Reviews

With Lenovo cutting the price of this phone, now it's a must buy in its range. Pros (compared to Redmi note 4) 1. Super AMOLED display. 2. Massive 5100 mah battery. 3. Nougat update available. 4. Fast charging. 5. NFC. Cons (compared to Redmi Note 4) 1. Internal storage (must be 64GB). 2. Lenovo UI. I find MIUI slightly better. Other Cons (similar Cons in Redmi note 4) 1. Hybrid SIM Slot. 2. Camera quality. (In this context i find Honor 6x camera best in this price segment). Conclusion : overall its best considering all factors in its price segment.

SD625 is great , back up is good , Sound quality very Good , Display awesome , Ram management also very good. UI is clean no lagging ever . Stock Camera very bad , it has Sony imx258 but camera app gives hazy pictures . Please use Open Camera instead , you can see the difference yourself.

Best phone of mine till date . I am giving it 4 bacuse of these - 1. Screen us super amoled which is why its fantastic. 2. Camera is wow at low light imaging. 3. Sound quality is perfect with just one speaker at right side. You can hear it form one floor down. 4.sense of weight of phone is good so it feel like you are having a phone in your hand not like the others. 5.touch response is fast. 6. Sensor works pretty quick and that made it more awesome phone. 7. Battery backup is good it works almost 2 days with normal usage and 1 day with heavy usage. 8. Due to rapid charging it, takes only 10 minutes of charging make your phone to work whole day. 9.storage is 32 gb with no extansion which is slightly disappointed, with 3 gb or 4 gb RAM. Disappointment- 1. It says its 4G,VOLTE phone which it is. But some times volte signal goes off and i am unable to make call with jio sim, i mean this is the reason people buy 4G,VOLTE phone these days. And it come back after i restart my phone 2 to 3 times. 2. Company should provid dedicated microsd slot because as an indian i am pretty sure, it does not matter how much ROM you give in phone, we still need a slot for memory card cause we dont keep our data in phone memory, the reason is if somehow phone get faulty or damaged all the saved data will wooshh. Apart. From these two points THIS PHONE IS JUST AWESOME.

PHONE SOUNDS GOOD IN ALL OTHER ASPECTS BUT THERE IS A SINGLE BIG ISSUE... THE SCREEN OF THE MOBILE IS CURVED. SO WE CANNOT PUT SCREEN GUARD OR TEMPERED GLASS FOR THIS MOBILE. WE HAVE TO USE WITHOUT ANY SCREEN PROTECTION. IF WE PUT, PERMANENT AIR BUBBLES WILL BE THERE IN TOP LEFT CORNER AND BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER. ITS VERY ANNOYING. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS, PLEASE SEE THE YOUTUBE VIDEOS REGARDING THIS ISSUE. I THOUGHT ONLY MY MOBILE HAS A PROBLEM. BUT AFTER WATCHING IN YOUTUBE ONLY I CAME TO KNOW THAT THIS MODEL IS ENTIRELY HAVING THIS SCREEN PROBLEM.

UPDATE: severe call quality issues, the person on the other end of the call won't be able to hear you clearly. MAJOR issue with this phone, almost a deal breaker. Hope this gets fixed with a s/w update. Battery Life, Build Quality and the UI Performance are the highlights of this phone. Lenovo has opted for a stock Android UI on this one which is a great decision, hopefully this would get updated to android 7.1 Display is good too (it's an AMOLED diplay so it's obivious) The worst thing about this phone is it's camera. The images captured by this phone have no detail, colors are muted, Dynamic range is very limited. It's just that bad that it could be a deal-breaker for anyone who is looking for a decent cameraphone in this price range. Maybe a software update can help but LENOVO doesn't care about it :D Overall a decent smartphone, but NOT a 'Bang for the Buck' product.

Best display in the budget segment and best battery life and fast charging in any segment. You can buy just for these two features without even thinking.
And for those people like me who expect flagship quality at budget price, Just for clarifications let me share about some other features of p2 which impressed me and also will help you decide.
1.UI highly customizable and will get stable nougat soon.
2.4g volte works perfectly
3.Camera - I don't know why some people cry about this. It has bundle of features and performs really well. If you expect dslr like performance pls buy dslr or buy flagship smartphones above 50k. (but still no one can guarantee)
4.speaker doesn't have dolby but believe me the sound output is rich and loud. Surely you will enjoy multimedia content.
5.design it's sleek n solid. Definitely feels premium.
6.active finger print scanner works like charm
7.processor can handle multitasking n even heavy games with ease. No heating.
8. Reverse charging OTP support are additional features.
I bought it for 15k. Damn worthy. You will not get disappointed at all. Enjoy and let me know if this review have helped you and also your doubts and queries.
Best in its price segment.!
