Using for last 6 moths. Perfect value for money tablet. Latest update upgradable to Android 5.0, Lollipop by Quarter 3, 2015. Please refer official Lenovo reference by doing Google [Android Upgrade Matrix - Lenovo Support (GB)]

Purchased this a few months back and am quite satisfied with it. Good picture and sound quality and fast enough for the latest games as well. Only two drawbacks are the heating up if you play high-end games for a while, and the rapidlydraining battery.

very nyc display , very nyc sound through stereo inbuilt speakers though average with headphones , battery life below average if u play cpu hungry games like coc (no device gives good backup while playing this game) , can play almost 2 movies with full battery ,for browsing battery works good, sometimes( 2 times since i bought , useing since 20 days) system dont respond need to force shutdown tab . good signal reception, good call quality, browsing is charm even on 2g or wifi. premium looks , light weight, avrg camera , very smooth processing n touch , other than heavy gaming a very good tablet , i play coc n dead trigger 2 on this tab n works fine in terms of graphics n processing though battery drain little quickly than i expected . bottom line ..... one of the best display .. go for it !!!!!!

I have been using the tablet for over 3 weeks now and I am finding it gives great value for money. - Fantastic screen - great for reading comics / graphic novels / books. - The front stereo speakers are loud and clear (unlike most tablets) - something that I am actually using to watch films sometimes without earphones. - Smooth performance - I've never tried any graphics intensive games though. - Battery capacity is lesser than most high-end tablets. Sharing a tip below to contain the battery-drain. - Camera is meh. Pretend it doesn't exist except for when you want to scan some barcode, etc. - The default Lenovo launcher might not be upto everyone's taste. I am using Nova launcher app as a replacement. - Transferring files over a USB cable from a PC to the tablet has been a no-go. When most other tablets show up as a USB disk or allow MTP access, this tablet doesn't help. I am now transferring files over Wifi or using USB-OTG. This is a bummer. I hope a software fix solves this. BATTERY TIP I don't have a SIM card inserted and had been experiencing constant battery drain with which the tablet would go from 100% to switched off without any use in 5 days. Since I've used an iPad2 before, I knew this is crazy and should not be expected. I figured out the 'cell standby' was taking all the juice even when I had no SIM inserted and 'mobile data' turned off. This is not normal. So I am now using the tablet in Airplane mode and turn the WiFi on/off as and when needed like I did previously. The Airplane mode makes sure the tablet doesnt search for a Cellular network when theres no SIM inside. Now the S8 is giving me great battery idle time.

It's a good tab for the 16.9K you spent on it. The specs looked impressive when we ordered it and the tab pretty much live up to it.

After doing tons of analysis I had narrowed down on Lenevbo S8 as I wanted to have a price point which matches with the features it provides. Here goes my analysis after spending an entire 24 hrs with this beauty Areas where it scored.. A. Slimest tablet with Intel Inside and 3G / 4G capabilities. B. Excellant display and that too in HD. C. Smooth buttery flow. D. Absolutely no lag anywhere and multi tasking is smooth, thanks to quad core processor and 2gigs of RAM. E. Abundant storage. You get almost 11GB and over and above it you can have SD card with apps movable to it. F. Preinstalled apps can be uninstalled...so no nonsense stuff retained. G. Good battery and Charge retention. H. Sound with Seneheiser headphone(offered free) takes you to a great level of acoustic effect. I. Doulby sound can be configured which makes movie watching a pleasant experience. J. Tab Stand though is paper based one is an excellent idea. Now for the areas which did not go well A. No charge indicator LED..so it keeps you guessing. B. Some apps show font in too small a size. Elderly people may find the going tough. Not sure if its the app issue. C. No earphones in the box. This should be a must going fwd. D. Accessories like screen guard and others are limited. May be its too early as this tab has just hit the kart. E. As its too slim holding is a minor issue. Maybe will get used to it. G. Only micro sim and if you already have a regular sim this will not fit. So Yet to test 3G and 4G. Overall check for the service centers next to your locality and if you find one( just in case you need it in future) don't even hesitate to press the buy button. You cannot ask for more.....!!!

Got this tablet one week back. 5/5 stars to Flipkart for fast delivery. Initially the battery life was sucked big time. But after few days after disabling a bloatware HD Secure (inbuilt by lenovo) the battery life improved a lot. Installed Battery doctor for android market and it is keeping my tab faster. Very nice tab for light to moderate users. Reading newspapers, books, checking emails, editing photo, whatsapp etc. Not for gamers. Size decent, Voice calls decent. Display decent. Will post more update after one month of usage.

Its a very good Tab from Lenovo. Great features like 2 GB RAM, 1.92 GHz processor, 8 MP rear Camera, HD video recroding. I am using this tab from last 2 weeks and so far no issues at all. Got Saco keyboard for my tab which is also fitting perfectly all right. I would suggest S8 tab instead of Lenovo Yoga series. With 8 Inch screen you will much comfortable and its easily holdable also. Much better features in this price range, while Yoga series will cost you more and almost same feature, only design part is better there. So Just go for Lenovo S8....
