After having used the Philips 40PFL4758 39 inches LED TV for a month, - Its a photo frame like TV and looks very nice mounted on the wall. - Picture quality is very good - Awsome to play HD content. - Go for D2H HD upgrade if you already dont have. - nice and easy to use TV menu - plays almost every movie format from usb. - Sound quality of the TV is not stero type, becasue the TV is so slim and it can not accomodate bigger spkeakers. - nice to have external multimedia speakers like, I have 4.1 channel speakers which gives me theater like experience. - Once TV mounted to wall, there is very narrow space in beetween wall and TV to use external ports on the back of TV like usb, hdmi, etc. You can overcome it by having extension cables for each port. I have done that. Summary- In this price its a very good LED TV and it comes with both table mount and wall mount stand with free home delivery and free installation. Flipkart delivery is excelent LED TV reached me in less than 20 hrs after placing the order.

initially after viewing reiews about sound quality of this product, i thought not to buy. But came to know that sound quality in any LED is not that great but we have to use external sound system. so purchased it @ flipkart deal of the day offer for 30k. completely satisfied with display quality, also tested with F&D 5.1 sound system. As LCD has only 16W sound output, 5.1 system can't help much to enjoy movie experience, however as I'm using TATA SKY HD+, connected 5.1 sound system to tata sky and the experince was superb in combination to HD display of philips. Totally satisfied with this product and as usual the service from flipkart. Though picture & sound settings on LED are limited, existing options are decent enough. without 5.1 sound system, exsiting sound on LED is good enough to cater normal sound requirements. Planning to buy philips home theatre @ 10k to completely enjoy HD movie experience at home. Lastly, when I purchased this product on FK, 37k was actual price but it dipped to 32k soon after the deal of the day offer expired.

Flipkart & Philips service was superb as usual....got the delivery the next day itself and also the installation was done the same day. Now coming to the TV: Pro's: Awesome Picture Quality.....Brilliant color reproduction and sharper details gives out a real life like experience. Sleek and stylish design.....Thin frame of the TV adds beauty to it. Easy and simple usage. Descent and sufficient connectivity options.....2 HDMI and 1 USB.....both works well. Sound Quality is descent, but could have been better. Con's: USB and HDMI ports are not easily accessible when wall mounted. Cannot control the volume using remote when connected to external speakers. Sound is not loud enough for Full HD videos played via USB....but loud enough for low resolution & DTH channels. I am using Airtel HD+ DTH connection....sound quality depends on the type of channel being played....gives out a disturbing sound (vibrating sound) while playing NEWS channels. Better to get a nice set of speakers, if you are planning to buy this TV. For a 39" Full HD TV at Rs. 30,000, I think we can live with these minor drawback. Finally, I recommend this TV for those who want a TV with GOOD Picture Quality (Remember the primary requirement of a TV is the picture quality and U can always buy a home theater for that extra volume /quality of sound ) and stylish design from a well established and reliable brand- PHILIPS!!! Don't waste your money on expensive TV's from Sony/Samsung/LG, when you can get the same for half the price.

Bought this Tv 4 months back and since them I am enjoying the big screen very much. I never had a LED Tv before so this is my first buy and I like the picture quality (nothing to complain about). This is a non smart Tv but I don't care since I have connected my laptop using HDMI and use wireless mouse and keyboard to surf web or watch Youtube. In-fact I keep my laptop lid closed and it stays on all the time so I don't feel need of smart Tv separately. Also since I bought this at 46K and a comparable screen size and quality from Sony or Samsung cost close to 80-90k this is a great value for money.

Let me start with the delivery of the product which was very quick & as promised next day. product came in a sealed pack original packing so GUD at that part. Installation also done at the same day by PHILIPS technician. here I would like to suggest flipkart to send two engineer to install the unit as the size of TV is bigger, it was really difficult to install the unit by a single engineer without helping someone. they also need to take extra care while installation as in my case they installed mounting unit without measuring the installed glass shelf on top and when they tried to hang TV it was not going due to glass shelf was obstructing the way, then he needs to drill again at little below level. so this part needs improvement. now on the product side, Design, picture quality and looks are very good, audio quality is poor, someone needs to add external speakers to it to get the better voice. rest all is fine with the UNIT.

Bought the Philips 39 Inch TV - first time purchased such a large product online. Excellent service by Flipkart - ordered it on Friday around noon. It was delivered on Saturday at 3 PM. The delivery guys also took away my old TV as per the buy back procedure.It was also installed by the Philips technician the same day by 5 PM. Keep it up Flipkart. The TV picture quality is excellent. It is quite slim. The 39 inch full HD screen is very bright and clear. The speakers are not very loud. The ports are on the left hand side in the back, which creates an issue for me when attaching additional cables since there is no space between the wall mount and the TV. However, other than these minor issues, it seems to be a great buy.

If you are not a brand maniac, you can go for this TV without any second thoughts (not to imply that Philips isn't a good brand but in the world dominated by Sonys, Samsungs and LGs, it definitely is not a frontrunner in LED TV space)! I got in through Flipkart Deal of the Day at under 30k!!! I read a lot of reviews complaining about sound but if you have a TataSky, the sound is at par with other TVs (read more than sufficient for a 12X12 room); the sound level is little less with USB content but even that depends a lot on individual file being played). The picture quality is great and general aesthetics of the set are decent! All in all, a bang-for-your-buck product! Kudos to Philips and Flipkart for that :)

This LED is good buy. Key points to be noted here: 1. Absolute crystal clear picture quality. Full HD is actually "FULL HD". 2. Sharp contrast to sharpness feature. 3. Ports are useful with 2 HDMI and 1 USB 2.0. 4. Sound quality is good but not great. Need to have a 5.1 channel for that extra bass. 5. Remote features are quite easy to use.

Value for money as i purchased on deal of the day (Rs 30,000/-) i had little regret as the TV price had reduced to around Rs 28000/- on the same week. Later flipkart had refunded the amount more than Rs 2000/- and asked me to pay around Rs 28,000/-..was happy :) Service from flipkart was first class. Coming to the TV, picture quality is good. No issues faced till now. TV wall mounting stand is not good as its very difficult to access the ports like USB.. Another drawback as highlighted by others is the sound, if you have a spacious room, the sounds will be inadequate. Should have provided the extended warranty.. Philips service person who they had sent was not up to the level as he knows only TV mounting work and not technical.. So overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.
