I had been using an iPad since the original iPad came out and then upgraded to 2,3,4 along with the Mini. But this one turned out to be the most significant upgrade ever. It holds the same punch as the iPad Air (and the iPhone 5S for that matter) and gives all the things that were severely required. Pros: * First things first. The RETINA Display is a stunner. It looked great on the previous iPad models but that same 2048x1536 resolution in the smaller screen is even more awesome. Truly lives up to the "Retina" moniker. * Performance wise this thing is a beast. I threw in about all the apps I have at it but couldn't get it to slow down for a single blink. Everything is snappy and fluid all throughout. * iOS 7 feels smooth and responsive. * The same awesome battery life as its predecessors. I managed to get around 9 hours in heavy usage (Games, Youtube, Movie Streaming via Plex Media Server, etc) Cons: * Sound quality from the speakers are good but leaves you wanting a bit more. Headphones solve this problem. * While using hardware intensive apps, the back tends to get HOT sometimes. Verdict: If the price tag is no bar for you, then just one phrase..."GO FOR IT". I chose this over the iPad Air and am happy that I did.

I brought the tab 2 weeks before for my brother, at that time it was not available in Flipkart. The best part is the display and battery. The display is awesome, I also own a Nexus 7 2013 version but iPad's display stands out when comparing the two. I have played Injustice, Batman Arkham Origins but haven't seen any lags while playing, I am yet to download more games and check the performance. When I switched on the TAB for the first time the battery was at 92%, I started using it and downloaded the required apps and the charge lasted for almost 2 days of moderate usage. The credit goes to IOS7, when the tab is in locked battery consumption is almost NIL. I know the price is bit higher and you can't customize it like android but if you are looking for a TAB with great display and battery life this is the one you are looking for. Buying a TAB is a one time investment so get the best one.

I'd been looking for the 128gb retina display all over mumbai. Was pleasantly surprised to find it available on flipkart as Soon as it was launched in india. The product is amazing. I have an iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4. But the mini with retina is by far the most beautiful and convenient. It's lighter to carry, more convenient to type long emails and the size is simply perfect !!!! Much better than the 9.7 inch ipad I must say. The delivery and service was amazing. I ordered this on a Monday and it was delivered to me next day ! That is some speed ! Packing was perfect, the delivery guy too was very polite unlike most. Very impressed overall.

Guess there's not much to write about considering how good the device is. Within 30 thousand and and more i feel its the best tablet. nothing comes close. its my personal opinion. The highlight of the new iapd with retina display if of course the display and the new hand gestures which work perfectly.(unlike windows 8 gestures which are complicated and frankly too cluttered) One thing i should mention is the battery life. I have used the ipad now for almost 20 days and may have charged it probably 4 times. Yes, its on stand by most of the day but also i use it for 4-5 hours a day, be it gaming or browing or readingf books. Thank you flipkaprt for the one day delivery and of course i am all smiles as i write this review. Never has any product wowed me so much. Apple is the best! i know people crib about the price but lets face it if you wanna drive a ferrari you have to pay the price, similarly apple products are so fine and refined that the price tag seems justified(atleast to me)

Pros: 1. Retina display makes every reading experience magical. 2. Zero lag. Very smooth operation. 3. iOS 8.4 available. 4. VLC available to play almost all file types. *search ac3 killer* 5. Marvelous battery life. One full charge gives 8-10 hours without any issue. Most android tabs last 5-6 hours. (used -> Nexus 7, dell venue 7,8, hp 10, bsnl penta, lenovo s5000, barnes and nook, kindle fire, iball ) Cons: 1. Few good apps are free. Android has a better collection of free apps. 2. iTunes needed for flawless transfer of data. Takes patience at first! Simply plug and use absent. 3. Data sharing possible only between two iOS product. Superbeam and fileshare has made our life easier for android products. Here airdrop is available but you need another apple product. 4. Customization is tricky. 5. Expensive than most tablets in the market. Almost went for Xiaomi mi pad.

A device with excellent build quality,decent specifications and an ecosystem which offers a wide range of tablet friendly applications. If you've made the decision to purchase a tablet and if you're ready to shell out some extra cash, look nowhere else, your search ends here. Usable storage out of the box stands at 12.5 GB and cannot be expanded. The device can be held in one hand and your fingers will wrap around the device well to give you some confidence. The display is CRISP and the texts are SHARP. Audio quality of the speakers are decent but not great. Camera quality is also decent in well lit environments. The battery holds good for 3 days on an average which is truly impressive for a device with such specs. A protective case/cover is a must, you will have to invest 2-3k to get a decent one here. The ones sold by Apple costs a fortune at 5k. Between the iPad Mini and the iPad Air, it is a matter of personal preference. Apart from the difference in screen size, the difference between the two devices is, text is more sharper in the mini and the colour reproduction is better in the bigger iPad Air. With the cellular model you will not be able to make voice calls as you do in a mobile phone. But you can make calls via internet using facetime and other applications.

Design and Build quality are rich and premium. Cons: 1. Close system architecture. You have to learn to use apple services for everything, (But they are the best). P.S: It does support popular applications like gmail, google search, drive, fb, twitter etc. Verdict: (Mind you i am a android fan and this one is my first apple device) If you are ready to spend some extra bucks you won't be disappointed at all.

Best small tab currently in the market particularly after the price cut and it provides the best user experience. I am using it for the last few days and it is really better than any other tab I have ever used. The display is sharp,graphics are fluid and the build quality is second to none. Also it has very good multimedia capabilities backed by a good battery life. Luckily I got it at the reduced price and since it has the same processor as the new ipad mini 3 so hopefully software upgrades will be not an issue. Overall it is a very good tab but I feel the only shortcoming is the storage space with the OTHER data eating quite a bit of your space. If you carefully manage your media particularly the videos then it should not be a problem.You will not regret buying it but if you can afford go for the 32 gb version.
