This is specially for people who are crying 'yellow tint, yellow tint' for this awesome phone since a long time. Guys, that is not a tint. That is a feature to reduce eye strain. Got my Nexus 6p from flipkart today. People read anything from internet and the stupid thing spreads like fire. That is not a tint. That is a feature to reduce eye strain. I use f.lux on my laptop. What does it do? It reduces blue light from pixels, giving yellower color. It is comfortable for eyes. Search google for f.lux. I have Benq EW2440L VALED monitor for my desktop. It features 4 modes for 'reduced blue lighting'. Multimedia mode reduces blue light by 30% whereas reading mode does it by 80%. It turns the light yellower. I have Yu Yuphoria as my secondary phone. Cyanogen gives a feature called 'LiveDisplay' in display settings of it. What does it do? It reduces blue light to reduce strain from eyes. It turns the screen yellow. So, what you see in Nexus 6P is a balanced mode between blue and yellow. They just made it a default. And their aim was definitely to 'reduce eye strain'. Samsung, Google and Huawei all know better how to manufacture screens. And they know what they do. They are even releasing a feature like Cyanogen's LiveDisplay in Android 7.1. I tried to capture the difference in screen color after applying these features on my monitor and old Yu Yuphoria, but it can't be captured properly that way. Hope that it will clear out some sanity in self-proclaimed tech gurus reviewing here.

Product: Very good phone, light weight, responsive, moderate heating , no lag , good camera and voice quality, nice earphones, nice packing, no connectivity issue, solid and sturdy hardware. Packing and delivery: Done before time and nicely packed. Memory: 64 gb is enough. No memory card which in any case is obsolete these days. Battery back up: Easily covers a day and nicely traverses to some of next day also. Effectively 1.25 days on moderate usage. Fast charging a plus point. Finger print sensor: Really a boon. Nice responsive and adequately placed. Video and Audio: The difference of Smiled screen is imminently visible the moment you see a video. Range of brightness fixation is lovely which takes care of eye. Software: latest android updates Conclusion: A Google phone is a Google phone. Wish list: Google should provide latest updates to this hardware for atleast 2 years is till 2019 as undoubtly it is the best piece they have ever produced. Yes better than Pixel.

Pros: 1. Stock Android 2. Dual front stereo speakers 3. Very good 1440p AMOLED display 4. Outstanding built quality 5. Incredible Camera 6. Fluid performance 7. Amazing Value for money (Q1 2017) Cons: 1. Snapdragon 810 heats up quickly ( not uncomfortably hot but still) 2. 3 gb RAM (don't get me wrong..its a still beast in multi tasking) 3. No micro SD 4. No water proofing 5. Single SIM only 6. Large footprint Camera Performance: I was simply blown away by the outstanding pictures it takes it HDR+ mode. Exposure is still best among all flagship smart phones today (Q1 2017) . S7 edge and Pixel takes brighter images in low light but exposure and color accuracy is more correct in Nexus 6p. In broad day light Pixel and Nexus 6p performs similarly. It loses its crown only in video recording where Pixel outshines with much better stabilized 4K/1080 footage. I got the 64GB gold version for 31k which puts in the same price bracket as one plus 3T. 3T is better performing owing to its snapdragon 821 and 6gb RAM but the difference in paper is not that much noticeable in real world. Nexus comes back to outshine 3T in every other department (camera, display, sound, software)

Just Awesome. I bought this for my brother. He loves Nexus line up and he's like left with no words. It's been 4 months now since he's been using the phone.

Yes the product is premium and fulfills all the promises it makes. Unboxing: Phone, charger type c, earphones and additional wire which has USB on one end and type c pin on the other. Phone look: Its a stunning piece. The premium amount paid for it is absolutely worthwhile. The color is very elegant. Back case: You need not worry about buying a back cover to save the precious gold look of your phone as Huawei provides a premium quality back cover for it and it fits like a glove. Fingerprint scanner: The scanner is blazing fast and setting it up is a child's play. It works phenomenally well. Pre installed apps : The Pre installed apps use around 1.5 GB only. All in all the phone is a sure shot yes. Also flipkart delivery was impeccable.

I got delivery of this phone on 21st December. Initial impression , 1. The phone looks good ( Not a big fan of gold but then no other colour is available ). It is absolutely slim and screen is way too big, But I have big hands so quite comfortable to use. 2. Screen is definitely Amber( Yellow tint) but that is okay since I had iPhone 5s and it also had an Amber display. Screen looks beautiful and that yellow tint is not that disturbing. You can certainly get used to the display. 3. The performance is just awesome. I think it feels more smooth than 3T. 3T definitely has more processing power, but Nexus 6p is highly optimised. Since 3T and 6P are similarly priced, If you want better user experience go with 6P. Android N runs beautifully without any lag on 6P. 4. Camera quality is really good. It has one of the best performing low light camera. Thanks to its larger pixel size. Also if compared it takes better pictures than OP3. Also you get an unlimited free upload of pictures and videos to google cloud, Which is not a big deal but definitely a nice thing to have. 5. My phone came with chrome cast Audio. And it works with all aux speakers. I even tried connecting it in my car and it worked. 6. There are two downsides to this devices so far - Since it is slim it is really slippery so you have to use a case. - Battery life is good in moderate usage but screen on time is less. Screen on times ranges between 3.5-3.45 hrs. But again it has fast charging so it has got you covered. 7. Also it does not support calling over Reliance Jio ( It does not have Volte). Data on Jio works just fine. If I find anything worth sharing I will update my review in the future.

earlier I was using iphone 6,but I was bored because there were too many restrictions from downloading to transferring files, music etc.Recently I ordered Nexus 6p gold edition from flipkart, trust me guyz it is the best phone. so,I pointed out some pros and cons pros: 1.value for money, for 44 k u r getting 64gb of ram and a beautifully designed google phone, what else do u want. 2.Camera quality is amazing, you can check the rating on DXOMARK.com. the Images are well exposed. 3.the front dual speakers produces loud and crisp sound without any distortion. 4.latest update as its a google phone 5.no heating issue till now as it is using snapdragon processor. In fact snapdragon 810 is very fast and smooth to use. 6.fast charging, within 70 min ur phone will get fully charge, even a 5 minute charge can make the difference between the phone staying alive when going out for a late night vs. running out of juice by the time you get home. The Nexus 6P does an excellent job of keeping battery life overnight. 7.QHD AMOLED display - this makes for a pixel density of 515 ppi, better than iphone 6s and 6splus. Cons: 1.quit a big phone,it doesn't fit in your pockets. 2.the phone is neither water proof nor dust proof 3.earphones/headphones quality is above average.

After three months usage the phone is pretty good compared to other flagships. The heating problem is minimal. But when exposed to direct sunlight it get bit hot and processing is damn fast experienced no lag till now. Battery backup is ample on a full charge it easily completes a day if moderately used. For power usage it lasts till evening. The charging is pretty fast and doesn't heat up the device. Display is fabulous and vibrant. Camera is fantastic good shots nice shutter speed but low light should have been improved. Promising android updates as it's a nexus device. Memory is enough I haven't faced any problems. The only con of this device is slippery might get slipped from hand. And in the end it's bang for your buck. Easily you can use it for a year or two. Thank you.

Claimed to be the best Nexus phone but it's far from it. Writing this review after using the phone for close to 10 months. Very poor battery backup, hardly lasts 4 hours on continuous use. Heats up a lot. Don't even think about using a case with this device because that'll make the phone very very hot. Screen brightness is not enough to use in bright sunlight. The good things about this phone are it's display and camera. Both are very good, especially the camera which takes great pics both night and day.
Yellow is a feature, not a fault.!
