i preordered it for white color and got in just two days on 3rd sept. even after buying there was preorder option and now its out of order. phone is quite nice if you don't have high expectation like on redmi 1s. the zen ui is superb and after buying this phone i came to know that asus zenfone design got reddot award of 2014 for best design. and i must say the design is really worth for winning award. it is way better than zenfone 4 and comes nearer to zenfone 5. pros of this phone for such a price: flash, superb gaming support(supports all the heavy games like riptide gp2,asphalt 8 with full graphics rendering) camera is better than moto g and it has so many amazing options on capturing photos.customized UI called zen UI makes the phone look very much like a premium phones costing probably around 20000 and more.,touch response is very fluid and smooth and it feels great on fingers like a feather touch, back cover is nice and gives a great look, other specialty is as given in the specification. cons: battery is not great which seems as same as in zenfone 4 & 5.but not really bad for a moderate user .doesnt have glove touch as zenfone 5 has. it heats up quite a bit if u continue to play games for more than 10min which most phone does.it doesnt support otg cable as it was in zenfone 4 out of the box until asus provided the ota update.hope they will provide otg support update soon after many user will buy this phone the phone have less cons than pros. it is a great device for a student as it has so many features which are quite helpful for a student. one more cons is that it doesnt provide headset out of the box .and screen guard and case cover is not out yet and looks like we have wait sometime for the accessories. Edited: got the update zenfone firmware Version WW V4.2.3 and now it supports otg cable.can play videos and movies directly from pendrive without copying in the phone memory or sdcard.

Kudos to Asus and Flipkart for bringing such a great smart phone in India where we the (middle class) are at the mercy of some big brands to launch low feature mobile phones. Moto e came and changed the scenario a little bit. Still it had many shortcomings , such as a poor camera and no front camera. All these shortcomings have been removed by asus in this device. You look at the phone and can resist yourself saying, "Wow such a great shape'. It is a kind of sexy shape. apart of this you get unquestionable , unbeatable intel atom (developed at 2013) , gorrila glass 3 protection. upgradation to 4.4 and further UI developed by the great brand Asus. What else If moto E and moto G set the bench mark for the middle range fone , then it is logical to say that Asus broke them and brought them to a new level. Lets hope these spice, micromax, lava , karbonn learn something from it. not only this, in the tough competition given by the Great Mammoths like Asus, we may presume the gradual death of other big players

I am in Mobile s/w dev profession last 11 years. I have seen very basic mobile to very high end mobiles. My requirement was very clear: Why did I choose this phone: 1. I need a phone , not to show off. 2. I need a phone which assist me with basic apps + Android apps. 3. I need big screen. 4. I need good speaker quality as I use IHF 90% of time. 5. I need simple moderate camera. As for photo already have high end camera. What I like: 1. Wonderful touch screen and feel. 2. Spender look and finish of phone. 3. ASUS customize GUI similar to Apple. (Very easy to use) 4. Fantastic Audio (Speaker) 5. Very good response (Facebook, YouTube..etc) 6. Smart Keyboard (better than Moto G). What I did NOT like: 1. Battery drawn very fast. 2. Smooth back cover, might slip from hand. AND 3. Not getting cover in Flipkart and in market.

Priced 1000 bucks less than the Moto E, this phone surely should get a lot of people interested. Asus is an ace company when it comes to hardware and they have reigned at the top for quite some time. Unmatched quality of Asus can be determined solely by the fact that the Nexus 7 tablets are manufactured by ASUS. And this phone seems to have it all. A dual sim which is a standard for all phones now, with dual camera (5MP and 0.3MP). Thats something the Moto E does not have. Moreover, it has Intel Inside. The Intel Atom is a powerful dual core processor, and I'd rate it above snapdragon anyday. Apart from that, the phone comes ready with a Kit Kat upgrade. It has everything that Moto E offers, plus a secondary camera for skyping at 1000 buks less. A must buy of anyone looking for a high end phone at super low prices. P.S: do not even think of comparing Motorola or Asus to Micromax and Karbonn. These brands are far too superior, and could give the samsung's and sony's a run for their money.

After using the phone for about a week all i can say about this asus zenfone 4 A450CG is that it's simply AWESOME' Key Points: Asphalt 8 on high settings runs as smooth as butter and i mean it(just make sure to clear out your ram before stating the game) and same goes for modern combat 5 too. Performance wise it's on par with nexus 5 i would say based on my experience with both nexus 5 and asus zenfone 4.5. It comes with usable storage of 4.5 gb out of 8 gb It supports otg natively Gets 500-550 mb of free ram unlike redmi 1S which has only 200-300mb free ram Camera performance is ok but lags a little bit on HDR mode None major severe heating issues. The only major con i could find was the severe battery draining issue. After 20-25 mins of asphalt 8,watching 3-4 youtube videos, browsing web for 15-20 mins, using apps like facebook, flipboard, appygeek and on single sim. This device lasts for only 4 hrs approx which is horrible i think, but i can live with that. So,gotta charge twice a day if on heavy usage. It's good to own a Hayabusa. It's not SO good to ride it in city traffic. Where the RD-350s can keep up with you. What if the the RD were sold at the price of a RX-100 ? That describes my journey from FlagShip Phones to Asus Zenfone 4 Everything I need to do in real life, it can do. From fringe-area-calls thru navigation to heavy gaming. "But does it have Electric Self-Start?" "No, but I have legs to kick-start it" Yes, there are some small cons, but trust me, we can live with that... For example, TFT resolution & viewing angle....Hey, it's a phone, not a public-TV ! Low battery life.... Charge in time or Swap to spare battery or use a powerbank...... Loudspeaker volume is low ...... hey, let's be a bit more social & use headphones ! And of course, at this price we can afford to buy another, so there is no tension of losing it or worry about service-centre-competence/spares availability ! :-)

The ASUS new Phone battery performance is very bad. It could be used for only for 3 hours after 100% successful charging. I am using very limited. Please do the needful. Preferably I want to return the phone and want to go for new brand say MOTO E or any other phone which can give me better battery life for same cost.
perfect as a budget phone!!
