I bought the phone through one of the Gionee Dealers in Bangalore. After doing research for last 5 months I I bought it. First I was intended to buy Nexus 5, but after my research & bad reviews from users, I dropped Nexus 5. I was searching for a phone equivalent to Nexus 5 with a price range upto 32k & then I heard about it from my friend. I started checking everything in net about this set & I was pretty amazed with its specs & aggressive pricing by the company. The Hardware is fantastic top of the line in present market with Qualcom Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock Freq of 2.2 Gigs & a 3gigs of Ram, its lightning fast. The 16 MP Camera is awesome as the Gionee people said "The Best Android Camera Smartphone" in the market, Of course now HTC M8 & XPERIA Z2 are there with Ultra Pixel & 20 MP Cameras, but the 16MP camera can give tough competition to these two. The Sound output is good, i played songs in full volume & quality is good. The Battery management is awesome, with 2500mah i didn't think the phone will perform so well. With continuous net usage, the performance of the battery may drop but still it will last a day with ease. The Benchmark scores are awesome with only HTC M8 & Samsung S5 above it ( Z2 hasn't been showed in benchmark scores yet) in Antutu Benchmark. In Nenamark its showing 61.7 FPS which is brilliant. The flip cover & the ear phones are of good quality. The only con which people may find that it has Android 4.2.2 Jellybean but E7 will be getting Android 4.4 Kitkat in end of july which has been announced. It has Amigo 2.0 which is beautiful in its own way. Some people may like it, some may not. Overall If some one ask for my advice I will advice to buy E7 over Nexus 5 any day......Still knowing that nexus 5 will get the future updates first, but I am a Hardware Engineer I prefer Good Hardware first. If u can get through that feeling of indifference with Kitkat & Jellybean, then this is the phone for u.......Hope this review Helped.

here is some adventages over nexus 5 1-e7 has got LTPS display from jdi which is far superior from nexus 5 ips+ display 2-for your information even nexus 5 is 2.26 ghz they just round it of and say 2.3 3-battery is 2500mAh and some chinese reviewers they have seriously optimised it and can give more power than 3000mAh phones 4-camera is 16mp with 7 element large m8 lens which is more amazing that xperia z1 camera and front 8 which is greater than both nexus 5 and iphone 5 rear camera 5-and finelly you are getting 32gb and 3gb ram version for the price of nexus 5 16gb and 2gb ram 6-if you doubt the built quality then check some drop test videos of e6 over igyaan and then think of e7's cons over nexus 5 1-no android 4.4 but you get a 4.2.2 version of amigo 2.0 which is amazing unlike amigo 1.0 claims reports and anyway they promise they will give atleast once a month update hope this is helpful guys

Ordered the Gionee Elife E7 from flipkart & using the In A Day delivery option got it delivered to me. At first, was very apprehensive on spending 27k+ on this unheard of mobile company. But the risk was totally worth it. Have been using this mobile for over a month now. No major issues. Very good battery life. (easily lasts more than 1 day; unless you are a power user) Excellent crisp display. Stunning camera. Even the front 8 MP cam is brilliant. No lag issues while playing any of the games or multitasking. sometimes gets heated up on prolonged use. Only mobile company that i have seen that gives a decent accessories free with the mobile. Only issue that I am facing is that when ever i use stock email app; when i delete any of my mails, it stops working and email app shuts down.. maybe will be sorted out in future software update. Besides this no other issue.. M really happy with the risk i took & this mobile can give a real competition to all the leading mobile brand flagships out there. A real beast of a phone.. And finally prompt delivery & nice packaging by Flipkart..

First of all people who are comparing it to nexus 5, It is way more superior than it and it even costs 3K less than it! Also some guy said in his review that they should sell it for 20k? Are you kidding me? It has got a Snapdragon 800 Processor! Same as US Note 3. 3 Gigs of Ram! 32 Gig Storage and a 16 MP Camera that can capture some of the most excellent pics ! It is a beast in gaming and its software provides added value to the phone! Checkout reviews on youtube before judging your self ! Its build is superior than any phone in the competition except iphone 5s and the HTC One! Truly Best Of the World!

For all those faggots who are too scared to move out of their comfort zone and grab a good deal, here are some pointers: 1) When you pay for the brand, you essentially pay for peace of mind, or trust, which can be offered through service centres, heres a low down, motoX buyers, motorola has about twenty service centres in the entire country(Rajasthanis beware!!), Nexus 5 prospective owners, LG has given you a good, fair amount of service centres scattered throughout, however, seven sister states(for the uninitiated, north east) have one, and vidharbha region dwellers, will have to come to the west coast for service. Coming to gionee, save for nagaland and mizoram, every state has at least one service center, so build your trust. 2) I have been using this phone for almost a month now, haven't seen the usual performance drop or battery drain that I have encountered in every other flagship. 3) Nexus 5 with its circle earpiece and box design looks like a mean ol witch from children's fairy tales compared to the sleek, slim footprint of this phone. Not a big fan of the camera jutting out the rear though. 4) Remember the good ol days of nokia when we used to actually care about the accessories given with the phone as much as the phone itself(then these big ass companies started giving us the phone and earphones, as if they were doing us a favour). However, gionee made me nostalgic with so many effing accessiories, that they not only cover the useful and the kitschie(nfc tags) but also completely useless(stand for a mobile!!???!!) 5) As for the camera, performance, etc etc goes, read other peoples reviews, its comparable to a flagship and ofcourse as a huge fan of the phone, beats their asses, simply coz of the cost. All in all, step out of your comfort zone and buy a phone that is trying to establish itself as a brand, give it a chance, and with faith, thou shalst be rewarded!

Well, anyone who hasn't bought the mobile is well aware about its 'over whelming' features but what they aren't aware of are the following 'cons':- 1.32 gb internal memory my a_s_s Only 22.5 gb of which is usable.. i do own an iphone 5s 32 gb.. it gives you around 27.5 gb of usable space 2. 16 MP camera- Its really good though it's definitely not a 16 mp, 13 mp atmost. same goes for the 8 mp front cam, it may be the best front camera available but not an 8mp one. 3. NFC tagging- It comes with the NFC feature but it doesnt allow you to share images, audio, etc with this feature unlike samsung its built for small files like contacts, links, etc 4. Headphones do not carry that feel/quality of a rs 28k phone. Other than above mentioned points GIONEE ELIFE E7 is all in all a GREAT phone but still a little over priced.. shouldn't be priced at more than 25k

Hi everyone, After reading a lot of reviews and hearing bunch of opinions I chose this phone. I'm going to share my one week experience. Performance: Top class!!!! Built in with 3 GB RAM, no lags or whatsoever when playing large games continuously. After 20 mins of heavy usage you can feel a slight heat in the back panel.. (Well.. Its common in most android phones.) Camera: Excellent camera quality in both Front and rear cams. 16 MP rear camera is just marvelous. A perfect choice for taking good high quality pics. The pic quality of the front cam is also good. Software: Android jelly bean version 4.2.2. This is the only part where this phone does not score much. But I wouldn't bother. This is my first android experience. And its good too. The Amigo UI offers a lot of options. The option of like or dislike depends on the users. Battery: Lasts easily more than a day. The display, look and feel of this phone is also very good. I love watching movies in this phone. 5.5" full HD screen is perfect. One thing would strike in most people's minds is the 27 K cost for name of a new brand. But believe this this product is worth every penny.

I have the 3Gb version of this phone. One of the most excellent pieces i have used for quiet some time now. NO problems at all. There are some issues for those who want to use it for Android app development (i wanted it for that) as there are no ADB drivers for this one around. but doing google and all can help in that regard. Phone and CPU performance is excellent. firmware is very nice as it switches the CPUs offline when not needed thus conserving battery. Battery life is normal and lasts upto 1 day. A power bank is recommended for avid gamers. With a bit larger screen, its a gamer's delight. Stock Amigo Ui is not pleasant but not that bad either. Picking up a call in this Ui is a bit cumbersome. 1 star short because of the UI. Though you can change it with other launchers, but would have been nice to have a good one by default.
Awesome Phone in Awesome Price!
