The design is awesome. It's got a classy look and feel. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Now coming to the performance part. I'm more than satisfied with it. No lags while playing games. I have tons of apps installed. In built memory is 1.27 GB which is decent for this range. Battery with always on 2g/3g/wifi connection gives me 8-9 hrs which for a 1400 mAH battery is quite good and considering it's android. Now without any net connection, it has given me upto 18-20 hrs with ample calling. (As I write this, it's on 5% and has already done 17h 42m with some wifi and 2g and plenty of subway surfers :P) I am definitely not complaining about the battery. No call drops. Sound is decent. Music does have a little noise. But after researching, it's something to do with the MTK chipset and can be removed by rooting. Talking about MTK chipset. It's a MT-6572 and not 6577. 6577 had a lot of heating and it's been corrected in this. Barely any heating up during heavy usage. Overall its an amazing phone for people on a budget. Go for it.

I bought this one for my Dad for daily use while he travels frequently, to not be too costly and yet have the magic of android. Usage period as of writing this: 1 day. This looks and feels great in the hands. It is the right size to operate with a single hand and (because of plastic) feels light also. Screen touch response if not as good as in Galaxy S2 or Lava Iris 504q or any Lumia. We need to sort of press to make it work, which is OK for normal use. Bottleneck of 512MB for RAM is quite frequently felt and it causes sluggish and slow performance sometimes when multiple apps are opened and updates are being done for eg. RAM usually stayed at around 80% occupancy even though we diligently close apps after use. While playing temple run it plays smoothly though, no hangs. GPS works, tested it outside and it gave 12 satellite visibility. Battery wise, didnt test it much, so cannot tell. GPS+WiFi caused 10% to be dropped in ~20-25 mins. Finally call quality is good and adequately loud. No drops. Overall it does make you feel like you are holding a plasticky phone, but for the price it is quite a bargain. I only hope it endures at least a year before going waste. Edit: After around 2 months of usage, the call quality is pathetic. The neighborhood is abound with my dad's frantic 'Hello HELLO's and he constantly has to come out of home to talk. It is not a problem with the service provider Airtel, as I face no such issues on my Lumia.

Not at all happy with the product as not getting proper internet connectivity and the battery back is not at all good....it dies with in half - an- hour only. Ring volume is also low and it does not fulfill my needs :( :( :( :( will not recommend to anyone.

I bought this phone from a local store last week, as a part of a gift card, so i didn't spend any cash, but got it, now 1 and only the issue is camera, apart from it..!!! it's just Boommmmmmmmm....u have everything in it whatever u can actually imagine, am not going to say the result how much I got it from An tutu and nenamark 2, they are already awesome, but practically am using it for gaming purpose, and that too into HD games, what I am playing on it are, blood & glory, dead trigger 2, galaxy on fire 2 HD, GT racing 2, with few simple game as manuganu, daddy was a thief, despicable me, now isn't it enough for you folks to practically understand in layman language, how much powerful the phone would be? Or still you need something more? its dual core 1.3GHz purely works to the extreme without Rooting it, and think what if it is rooted? and these all games are playing smoothly without any single lag, now I think LAVA has a tough competition with Samsung where all the Samsung phones looks like same, just as Bajaj Pulsar series bike all are same in look! So choice is your's am a professional gammer, and I opted to give a feedback just because something is beyond the price and technologically requirements that we expect most of the time from a big brand! LAVA U Rocks..!!!

This is a good phone with lots of features. The back mate cover gives the phone a premium look. The quality of 5MP camera is average. sound quality is good and call quality is also good. The phone came with a flip-cover as well and a screen protector.

The Lava Iris 405+ is the successor to the previous low budget champ and my old phone, the Iris 405. I got the phone a few weeks and this is what I think about it. Design – 4/5 The design of the phone is pretty generic although I feel that it is better looking than its predecessor. The build is also excellent and does seem like it can shrug off bumps and knocks easily. Hardware – 4/5 The phone has a lot of interesting hardware for its price. It has a 1.3 GHz dual core processor which is really good. The RAM is 512 mb which again is very good for the price. The internal memory of the phone is 4 GB which may get full soon, but thankfully there is a micro SD card slot that lets you expand the memory up to 32 Gb. The battery is a 1400 mAh unit which is pretty good. However, I do suggest that you carry a charger wherever you go just in case. The phone comes with android 4.2 Jelly bean installed and the hardware seems good enough to run it without much issues what so ever. Camera - 5/5 The phone comes with a 5 mp unit which is actually very good for the price. The images are pretty crisp and clear. The camera is capable of capturing 720p HD videos with pretty decent sound capture. The phone also has a front facing camera which you don’t get with many phones in this price range. It is a VGA unit so doesn’t expect much but it is good enough for the occasional selfie or for video chatting. Verdict – 4.5/5 The Lava Iris 405+ is a very good for those guys looking for a very low priced phone that will give them complete bang for their buck.

Buying the Lava Iris 405+ is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was on the lookout for a phone that would not really burn a hole in my pocket but at the same time would also offer good camera and display features. The 5 megapixel camera takes really nice pictures – good quality and clarity of image as well as brilliant vividness of colours. Iris 405+ also records HD videos at 720p. The display is good enough at 480*800 pixels and the vividness of 16.7 million colours is an added bonus. Although I am not much of a gamer or anything I like the fact that heavy apps and multiple open apps does not slow down the phone, thanks to the 1.3 GHz dual core processor. The battery lasts a fair amount of time and therefore keeps me from worrying about running out of juice at the wrong time. Buying the Lava Iris 405+ has not only been a good buy, it has been a sensible buy. Lavanya
