Be sure to buy it only if you are going to do lightweight work on this. Some more details and tips for effective use: Storage: Out of 32GB, only ~19 GB is available because of the recovery partition. There is no official method to remove the recovery partition as of today but it is still possible. About 12 GB is free space initially but can be augmented with a microSD. Just format the card with NTFS and mount it in a folder in the C drive. Install software into that folder from then on. Also the card reader is capped at ~25MB/s but you should STILL buy a fast class10/uhs1 card. Because cards list their sequential read speed. Random read/write speed is more important if you're using it as main storage. Most good cards have random read speeds in single digits and you can buy any card with random read speed till 25MB/s and it won't be a waste. I bought the samsung evo because it had the best random rw speeds for that price (double of sandisk cards in that range) Speed: Uninstall McAfee the first thing you get this and you won't have the speed problems others are complaining about. Use windows defender that is preinstalled but disabled out of the box. Disable html5 on youtube with available chrome/firefox extentions (tried both) because flash is faster and uses less memory. Gaming (lol): Not really meant for gaming but it can run DOTA, CS and AOE2. The framerate will be low but install DirectX end user runtime (trust me, even though ver. 11 is preinstalled) and old games will run a lot better. Linux: You can't install linux easily on this machine right now due to issues with the bootloader. Google this for better information. Nevertheless, I am using CygWin for basic linux tasks. Fingerprints on the body: People are complaining that the body is a fingerprint magnet. I can assure you that this is NOT a problem with the Gold version. Blue version might be. These were my only concerns while buying because other specifications are good enough.

This is a bang for its money ! The ease of using it as a tablet and computing prowess of a laptop combined in ONE. If you are looking for a under 25k device dont event think twice and just BUY. I was ready to spend upto 20-25k but found this much more valuable than more expensive devices..

Laptop is good for lighter CPU functions. Pros: Keyboard is Good. Touchpad works way better than Lenovo touchpads. Build Quality is Good. Screen looks bright and Crisp. Boot time is amazing(coz of Windows 8.1, I guess) Cons: Can't satisfy man's greed.

It is a really awesome device for the price point and the performance it gives. Pros- -Good Build quality. Despite being made of plastic it looks and feels much premium. -Performance- It comes with a modest cpu but it seems enough for basic tasks and never lagged while doing my daily activities. -The screen is sharp and vibrant. Make sure you align it at proper angle to get the proper contrast -The keyboard is nice and soft. Makes typing on it a breeze -The trackpad is big and responsive (plus the gestures) -The battery life is simply epic. The use of low power consuming cpu and EMMC pays of here. I almost get 8-9+ hrs of usage easily. -Fast RW-Speeds. Cons- -Low Storage (Use external drives) -Only USB 2.0 ports This is a great buy for those looking for a budget friendly device for daily purposes like checking mails,making occasional presentations,browsing,etc. The Bundled Windows 8.1+Office 360+1TB One Drive storage increases it value. I got the Golden model and the colour is not that deep as in the image and looks way more elegant. also the finger print marks are not visible as in the blue model.

This laptop is certainly one of best laptops in this price range.. I mean what else can get better in 13095/- , yes that's the price i got it for.. Coming back to the product.. It has satisfied me in every means as on now..it has got everything u need.. There is some creaking sound along the frames of the laptop lid near the camera... Durability of this is laptop is a big question...till now serving well.. Battery backup beats all other laptops in this price segment.. Direct 12 hours backup after first charge.. But seriously guy if you are looking for some seriously good laptop at 13k.. am using this machine for 3 weeks now. i am light user.....basic email stuff, MS office, netbanking. i do not play games, no video editing. for my purpose this netbook does the job perfectly. pros: 1. eyecandy: this machine feels premium. u will feel u r working on a macbook air. its so light weight. doesnt feel it is a 14k machine. 2. battery: USP. i easily get 3 days of work before having to recharge again. roughly 3 hours daily. so its around 9 hrs.i am doing a lot of installing /uninstalling software. so battery could last longer if i dont do that. 3. light weight, compact form factor. 4. it will get free windows 10 upgrade. 5. boots to start screen in 10 seconds.saves me time. cons: 1. only 18 gb user available memory. after installing windows and getting updates, very soon you are left with 10gb only. so all softwares have to be installed in external sdhc card. 2. windows 8.1 sucks.: windows store is horrible. i am unable to install any windows store app. it keeps giving me error 0x80073cf9. tried all possible solution taken from various websites/forums. nothing works. i hope an upgrade to windows 10 will help. default windows app location will have to be changed to sdhc card if u wanna save on c drive space.i have managed to do that. 3. @gb ram not upgradeable 4. limited storage. but attach a portable hard drive and you have solved the issue all in all, i am liking the asus x205ta. does the job for me. flipkart packaging very good. i opted for 1 day delivery. and it was delivered within 24 hours. great machine if you are ready to accept the cons.

m using this product from 2 weeks...&after that m writing review abt it.this is excelent product in range of 15k..for normal tasking like surfing,reading,editing docs etc...really lightweight...battery provides around 10 hr normally of web browsing.On gaming like nfs(i played it smoothly without any lag)it lasts up to >5hrs.On heavy task like playing nfs it gets heated (low)at bottom side but less than any other laptop.the gold colour is some different from as u see in image..in cloudy environment it seem like silver colour but in sunshine, gold feeling is there.gesture system is just awesome for using win8.1. aware that its mcfee antivirus expires instantly if u sign in it(mcfee) before a month. guys also u should buy it on sale offer day. even on sale day there is a price variation.LIke i hv order it with sbi offer @13499(show14999 original price) in morning,but after 2 hr it was showing 14490 original price so if i hv ordered later it costs around 13049..so please aware of this for saving rs500..more so i hv given one star less just bcos this costs me rs 500 more fk shoud not vary their product pricing.Overall m satisfied with this product.u should go for it blindly
