Great Device, I don't know why there is so much hate around Samsung devices! Coming back to the device, this probably is the most beautiful phone made by Samsung, next to only S6 (which cost's thrice the price of A5). I have been using this for little over a month now, here's my review: Pros: 1) Amazing build quality and stunning looks 2) Fantastic display, S-AMOLED is the best, period. 3) Good Camera, rear one does exceedingly well in good lighting conditions, however low light images are a little grainy, but the flash does a good job. The selfie camera is great, at times a little too pleasing,I guess you turn off the beauty mode. 4)Terrific Battery Life, I am not a heavy user, but the battery life is really good 5) Toned down touchwiz, Samsung has done a great job to remove a great deal of bloatware and the UI is quite fluid, lollipop update will make it even better 6) Samsung goodies - Additional features such as, smart stay, smart alert, ultra power saving mode make the package quite potent. Cons: 1) A little pricey, however the build quality more than makes up for it, if this gets a price cut to below 20K, this will sell even better 2) Snapdragon 410 Soc, although I have never encountered any lag or experienced any difficulties while playing games, I still feel Samsung could have included a more capable chipset, Snapdragon 615 would have been more fitting. Again, if you are a normal user, this is more than adequate. I do a lot of emails, some concessional gaming (including some graphic intensive ones), whatsapp, facebook, some alerts, calender entries, widgets etc.. and I have not encountered any sort of lag, the chipset has performed really well. P.S - I have used several smartphones (Original Galaxy S, Note 1, Sony Xperia SP, Galaxy S3, Apple iphone 4, Galaxy Mega 6.3), I currently own a Galaxy S5 as well. By far the A5 has been the best value for money.

If u r fan of high profile brand phones like samsung , apple , htc , sony, lg...etc This is the best u will get in this price range.... full glass nd metal body awesome look... Camera is very good in lights but in low light it is little bit below the aspectance... Perfomance is ok.... screen quality is best... super amoled screen high pixel density...u will experience a great picture quality... fast charging support is awesome 45 min to full charge.... 2 gb ram is enough for gaming..... i am very much satisfied with it... And u will get good resale compared to cheap mobile companies like coolpad, mi , leEco ....etc

I bought a SAMSUNG A5 on 13th of this month and now its not repsonding like from yesterday after just downloading 20 apps & that doesnt include games & the retailer says it not my fault and is not co operarting with me i would like to recommend others not to buy any phones from your company as your phone cant work properly for even 48 hrs.

This is an awesome product but not for geeks ,who go for spec vs price comparision.. This is for people who want a premium looking ,mid-range, branded phone(samsung,sony,htc..).

DUAL SIM AND MEMORY CARD NOT WORK TOGETHER ??? MAY BE THIS IS MAIN PROBLEM... PLEASE CHECK BEFORE THE PURCHASE..

This Mobile looks awesome.I loved it after using this mobile. I purchased it last week. It has very good display and processing speed. I took pictures and video. It has very nice quality pictures compare to other mobiles. I would say go for it guys :)

Looks: 5/5 This phone looks awesome. Better than any other android phone with cheap plastic. It is full metal body with impressive detailing. Performance: 4/5 This phone has a great performance. Don't go by specs. Even though the specs do not beat other phones with the same price, quad core processor with 2 GB ram is enough for android apps. Most other octacore processor heats up like hell making phone as a furnace. Battery: 5/5 This phone has a nice battery backup. Even though its a 2300mah battery. It gives me 1.5 days without charge with wifi/mobile data on. I haven't seen any other smartphone with nice battery backup at this range. Also this phone doesn't heat at all.

This was a bday gift from my hubby.. Color of this handset is very rich and feminine, suits on girls ....it looks amazing .. -too light weight and slim -Ultra power saving Mode is an 'amazing battery saving feature' -Camera is also very good with so many modes -i played subway surfer on it and it has very little lag in starting but after that it runs very smoothly. -4G Only the cons are .... Price little high and they dont provide any flip cover for safety but at the end i would like to say my handset is unique and i love it.
