Hey guys, i recently bought this phone after a great a confusion btw Samsung Galaxy Grand & Xperia L. With the initial Benchmarking of this device which came out to be great, i got this phone with full trust but not from flipkart. Here are some Pros & Cons i would like to share wid u all.. Pros : *features like NFC, JELLY BEAN, Software updates are + points 1) 4.3 inch screen wid higher resolution (compared 2 Grand) 2) Decent Speed & Performance (no lags or hangs) 3) Gaming Beast..(Temple Run 2, Subway Surf, Dead Trigger, etc ) 4) Sony's Camera wid Flash (for me d flash is not working at 55% battery) :-( i don't know whats d problem..!! 5) Dual Core wid 1 GB Ram 6) Slim & Attractive Design 7) Gud Call Quality 8) In Budget & JELLY BEAN.. ;-) Cons : 1) BATTERY !!! the battery last only a single day even with normal use..!! should have a 2100 mAh.. 2) Camera Flash - Check out the camera flash before buying, for me it does not work when the battery is at 55% or below.. Then wat the use of it ?? Even at 50% battery we cannot use it as a Flashlight/ Torch..!! 3) Internal Memory could be much better.. at a cheaper price Samsung's S Advance provides 16 GB internal battery Verdict = Awesome phone.. but with little less Battery Backup..!! Updates are served 2 improve the overall performance & to fix issues & bugs.. so don't worry.. :) *Alternatives - Samsung Galaxy Grand, Samsung Galaxy S Advance (even Lg devices but they are not so popular)

I bought this phone purely on basis of reviews on flipkart and gsmarena. I am happy by what it has to offer. Let me be crisp. The pros and cons are strictly for a phone at 15k level: Pros: -Solid Build with a premium feel. -Very Helpful notification LED light -Good Speaker volumes -Sturdy keys -Great interface and GUI. Great relief from the boring GUI of Samsung. -Decent battery life -Latest Andorid out of box -Light weight and easy single hand operation -Works on normal sized SIM, so no requirement of going for replaced SIMs -No hanging so far. Cons -Due of icon arrrangement, the actual screen size available for apps is about 3.7-3.8 inch. -Colours are bit washed out and crispness missing when I compare it with doubly priced S3 (My bad) - Gesture controls and quite less compared to Samsung -In pack headset of flimsy quality and charger unit has very small wire length. In Packet: Handset, Headset, Charger cum USB Cable, Quick Start Guide. Overall it is a great phone in 15k range and for people entering the touchphone domain. Sony is doing a good job. Not recommended for people downgrading from 30k range phone expecting it to be a good substitute. Flipkart Service: Dissapointing and was delayed by two days. No response from Customer care. Will probably not go for high ticket purchase from this site.

I bought my xperia l from a local retailer in dehradun and i am very impressed with this phone. It looks like a million bucks, taking design cues from its very beautiful younger sibling the Xperia J. The power button looks and feels really nice. The build quality and feel of the phone is vary nice specially when compared to samsung. The display is pretty nice. Its just the right size. Text and pictures appear quite crisp and videos look quite good too. The camera is satisfactory but i was expecting better. My phone's led flash works well and it does work even when battery is below 50%(worked at 40%). Performance is pretty good. The processor is snappy and 1gb ram is adequate with around 200mb always free. There are no lags thanks to jellybean's project butter. Graphics are decent. Virtua tennis, temple run 2 and nfs most wanted work without a glitch. antutu score was 9312. Battery is nothing to boast about but lasts a day. It is the best at this price bracket. Better than the cheaper grand quattro which has terrible build quality and an outdated processor and graphics chip. Overall it is a great phone.

Bought this phone on 26.06.2013, but not from flipkart. Awesome phone at this range. Better screen resolution than Samsung Grand. Likes: a> Screen Resolution awesome. b> Touch Quality great. c> Apps and Games runs very smoothly. d> 8 MP camera is awesome. e> HD Recording is out of the world......better than any phone which provides HD Recording. f> Sound Quality is another great feature....u will love to hear music both on speakers and headphones. Dislikes: a> Low on battery.......if you use apps and internet it will hardly last for 6:30 hours. b> Secondary camera is worst. c> If you are listening to any rocky music on headphones, you will feel that the sound is a bit less.....else soft music is perfect. d> Its a single SIM smartphone.

Performance of the phone is decent. You still see very little lag but it is not much. It has capable GPU and you can play any game without frame loss. Battery is good if you are in stamina mode otherwise you will get a day under moderate use. GPS is great and it takes less than 5 seconds to acquire the location. Only issue is Camera. Thought it is touted as Camera phone, it has huge lag more than 2 seconds. Because of huge shutter lag its not useful to take fast moving objects. Image will look good on the phone, but the details are muddy. This looks like a firmware issue than hardware. Looks like the app is compressing the file too much. I could be wrong. I would say this is the only major disadvantage with the phone.

First of all, I am writing this review on basis of my usage and not on reviews or anything else. I am using this awesome phone from last month and it has exceeded my each and every expectation. People bashing about camera should note that Sony is rolling out updates and they should be available any time as other countries has already got that update. That update fixes auto focus, blurry images and many other issues with the camera. Also update fixes many of the other software bugs. So don't bash the phone without researching. About the battery life, yes the phone has not so great battery backup but guys you can manage to make it last more. Performance of this phone is really compelling and will surely impress you. It can play each and every high end game without any problem. Pros- 1- Performance. Kick ass. 2- Camera quality is fantastic. (After update) 3- Value for money. 4- Looks are really beautiful, It looks really awesome in hand. 5- On screen buttons are really cool. They hide while watching videos and photos etc. 6- Display looks beautiful and vivid. Color reproduction is awesome. Watch a movie on it and then say. ;) 7- Software updates which keep making the phone more awesome, 8- 4.2.2 update which will be coming out soon. 9- For developers, this phone is awesome as it has a good developer support on xda 9- End of my thinking capacity. List is endless. Cons- 1- Only and only low battery backup. 2- Nothing else as many of the bugs are related to software and the latest update fixed most of them. What are you waiting for? Go for it guys!

I got this product from Flipkart last month, and the flipkart delivered the phone in 1 working day..that was amazing. The phone is awesome and the best part is the battery works for a complete day easily with Wifi and other apps on. I would recommend this phone over samsung quattro and other phones because of it's unique style and base. The walkman music is freaking awesome and when I put my skullcandy earphones in the phone, it just goes out of the world. Must buy for a lower budget.

The phone is very good looking stylish and suits your style. The camera is good. Interface is satisfactory. A must buy. Only improvement could have been a slight decrease in price..
