Firstly the Delivery was amazing. I received the product 5 days from ordering(5 days earlier than expected date).Kudos TSRetail. The Laptop has exceeded my expectations. I researched about laptops in this price range for a week before ordering.This was definitely the best laptop for multipurpose use including media consumption, work performance and even gaming. The Laptop looks and feels amazing.The Description originally claimed that the product was matte finish on the outside but they have since changed the description and it is indeed a glossy dark brown which isn't necessarily a bad look but I personally prefer the matte finish.I have ordered and abstracvinyl from mSleep to give that matte feel. There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the RAM slots on this laptop, I have only had the product with me for a day and haven't had the chance to open up the back yet, but I will update here regarding the RAM slots. 1)The Screen amazing! 2)The keyboard is very comfortable with large keys and gooid labelling. 3)The Trackpad is a joy to use. 4)It is quite light and thin compared to other 15.6" laptops. 5)The USB 3.0 port is not coloured blue which helps to keep track of the ports but rather painted brown like the rest of the laptop. Not a big issue but still putting it out there. 6)The Battery life is really good.it was at full charge when I began installing windows 10 on it and after the installation of my essential programs and some games and Ms office and the drivs, etc for over 3 hrs, it still had 22% battery left. 7)Installing the drivers from the Asus CD is a pain..it reboots after every installation of a driver or program.But I managed to make it through. 8)The 4GB RAM is definitely restricting performance and have ordered and additional 8GB .Will update on the improved performance. 9)I have played only Just Cause 2 and Besiege on it so far and they run smoothly at max settings( 60fps forJC2 and 90 fps for Besiege) 10)Will continue to update performance

This laptop is the best deal for budget of under 40k. You can definitely buy this product without thinking much. All the specifications are high which you can hardly get all of them in other brands above 42k. Runs very smoothly on Windows 10 without any lag or problem. Awesome display. Battery backup is also pretty good. Don't believe on negative comments about this laptop. Flipkart is THE BEST as usual. I got the product one day before the actual date of delivery with the amazing packing. Flipkart service center is best as usual. Good work Flipkart. Keep it up!!

The laptop look is very attractive compared to lenovo or hp. Main advantage is its graphics card geforce 930m 2GB which is a big advantage to get under 40k. The next one is it is core i5 6th generation, while many laptops at its price are stuck at 5th generation. The display is average though, but for this price the half hd display is cool, games also get high fps. It would be better if it is listed in official site with the details of RAM supported . Update: It can go well with Kingston 8 GB RAM - 1600Mhz DDR3L - so total 12 GB is possible with this laptop. I am using it that way.. But RAM usage rarely goes above 4GB if u are normal user

asus is incredible 1)performance of the laptop is awesome without any heating problems . 2)sound quality is good (sonic master and realtek audio manger made speakers best). 3)battery backup is good.it works fine with 4 gb ram and can be expanded (ram can be easily installed by own). 4)works fine with windows 10 5)windows 10 drivers cd is present in the package,i think no drivers for windows 8. 6)weight of the laptop is less and easily carriable 7)cam has less mega pixels not preferable for taking selfies in laptop . 8)nvidia graphics made gaming experience best 9)asus makes its own motherboard so asus r558u laptop is best in this price range 10)the connectivity is important,so in this laptop is equiped with vga,hdmi,ethernet port, (3.0, 3.1, 2.0) usb ports are present

Best laptop for the price range ..touchpad will only work on windows 10 ..superb performance ..its my 1st day after I got my laptop...played assassins creed black flag on ultra settings ..smooth gameplay ...slepping dogs ..on ultra settings ...the touchpad is very bad ..cuz u can't tap the left button while holding the right button ...destroys the amazement of gaming ....but other than that ..great laptop Played saints row 4 on high settings ..display kind of just okay not great.... laptop can't operate other than windows 10 ..why ?? ..anyways super performance by the laptop .. Best If Ram is upgraded to 8gb ..look for 1600mhz ram ..i got a corsair 4gb ,total of 8gb ram ..and its perfect .. Batman arkham origin,rise of the tomb raider,assassins creed unity,far cry 3..everythings working in high settings... but again the only flaw i think as a gamer is the touchpad ..people are saying about speaker but i dnt think so ..its ok ...its a laptop not a speaker :p ..do u really play with a speaker or a headphone ..everyone has prefrences i guess..

I have been using this laptop for 6 months. It do have a good configuration than other laptops at this price. But what it lacks is build quality. Asus presents you with good specs in the expense of build quality.It was Rs 39000 when i bought it. PROS 1- Really superb configuration, i5 6th gen(though 7th gen is out). 2-Nvidia 930m is better than ATI R330m(which is usually provided in this segment).4 3-Extremely stylish. This laptop stands out in the crowd. 4-USB Type-C, futureproofing. 5-Decent frame rates from new games (low-med settings) 6-Light compared to its peers. Asus after sales service is splendid, atleast in my city. It have 4GB ram installed(non removable) and an extra unused slot (max 8GB). So you can install a total of 12BG ram, not 16GB as said by others. CONS 1-Poor build quality. You will understand what i meant if you use it for 10 minutes. 2-Keypad is not back lit(if you are into programming, this will haunt you). My keypad failed to work after 3 months(got replaced) 3-Very bad mouse pad, the touch sensitivity is very bad compared to other brands, the outer edges of track pad is almost non-responsive. 4-Battery life- Got about 6 hour battery life initially, but after 6 months ,i'm getting a backup less than 2 hours. 5- The hand resting surface of laptop is metal finish. It is very stylish indeed. But after a few months usage. the coating of that portion is undergoing wearing. I wouldn't recommend this laptop. 6-Non Detachable Battery.

I was searching for the latest machine in a budget below 50K. Found this little beast. This machine has some of the latest and greatest specs. 6th Gen Processor Nvidia 930m (2gb) USB 3.1 (Type C- Reversible) etc. Pros- -Intel 6th Gen i5 Processor EXPANDABLE RAM (Yes, the Memory is Expandable. 4gb is preinstalled on the board. There is 1 empty slot for further expansion. I hv added 8gb more to it. Tried Kingston KVR16LS118 8GB Ram but it didn't worked. Don't know whether it ws a faulty one or support issue. Anyways I Tried ADATA and G.SKILL both worked fine. I m using 8gb G.Skill memory, it's awesome. No issues watsoevr.) -2 year warranty (Global) -Although 2 cell battery, but 6th Intel's gen processor and Asus's own motherboard it easily gets me 5 hours or usage time. -Decent Sound (Not as good as JBL etc but pretty loud. Slightly better than Lenovo G50 series laptop. Thing I liked the most is that it doesn't lose it's sweetness of sound even at the full volume.) -Anti-Glare Screen (No glares. Great outdoor visibility. Less power consumption) -Smooth running with Windows 10 + Driver CD is included. -CD drive is there. Although there is no much need of it now a days but it is there if in case u need it. Despite its presence the laptop is quite slim. Lets come to the cons- (There are few thing which are not CON for me but might be for some of u) -No light indicators on Caps Lock or Num Lock -Inbuilt Battery (Not a problem for me bcoz of 2 years warranty) Touchpad (It is Smartpad with some great gesture controls but as it's a smartpad it doesn't have separate left and right buttons like old laptops. Its not bad by the way but its totally upto one's personal preference.

This is very good laptop with awesome spec and sound. Best under 40,000. The touchpad and drivers donot work with win 8.1 and 8 so one must install window 10
